Hi indeskyze and welcome to the forum The best place to start is to have a read through the Mixing Guide - http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/forum/mixing-discussions/mixing-101-11504/. This will explain all you need to know to start mixing your own. Basically you need 4 things to get you started 1. Unflavoured Nicotine Juice, either Red Label unflavoured 36mg or Platinum Ice 54mg 2 Choice of a dilutant, this will cut the mg strength to a mg of your choice, Most go for either PG or VG/AG 3. Flavour Concentrates of your choosing 4. Empty dropper bottles Everything you need can be found here - http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/mixing-accessories-products.htmlIf you have any more questions, dont be afraid to ask, we are here to help

Hi Caz,
I noticed in your list of 4 things, No1 is Un-flavoured Juice. Does it have to be un-flavoured? I have two 30ml bottles of Virginnia flavoured e-juice at 8mg Nic. I was planning to vape one of them and dilute the other into two bottles of 4mg nic. Plan to use PG and peg-400. Would that be ok? Is the ratio of PG and PEG-400 purely down to personal taste or is there a standard ratio?

Jeddy that will work but there will be a serious reduction in the flavour as you will be diluting that too; I've done it myself with a whole load of 18mg flavours that I bought back when I first started vaping, what I did was buy a concentrate to match and added extra flavour as desired, but again that too will affect the nic strength as it is an extra dilutant, but for the few drops it will take to bring the flavour up, it probably won't bother you that much. I have read several times on the board people saying its a bad idea to do this, but I've really not had a problem, but remember I've only been vaping full time 4 months, so I may have just been really lucky, so YMMV. Edited to Add: Stay away from the PEG for now, I hear it is a bit of a black art, I would use an AG/PG mix to dilute.

HI Tara,
Cheers for the info, I'm not too bothered with the reduction in flavour, as I use the Virginnia e-liquid purely as a "base", then add concentrates.
I wanted to get AG but they had none in stock (still don't), hence the PEG.
OK, so I'll wait till they have, thanks again,

I have heard that you can get VG on the pharmacy in England. Just go there and ask for it?

Go to Boots and ask for Glycerin, you will need to cut it down with a little vodka or distilled water, I'm yet to do it myself but having now tasted some home mixed AG in a juice (care of pufferfish) I can say that it's just fine and dandy.

Hi jeddy No as Tara said it doesnt have to be unflavoured, you will lose taste, how much you lose depends on how much you dilute it down and how strong the flavour was to start with. I personally like tobaccoish bases on flavours like apple, etc. As always make sure you mix small samples to start off with so you dont waste any nicotine juice. Ratios depends entirely on what you are looking for, throat hit or vapour etc, pg gives the throat hit, vg/ag gives the vapour, so maybe start off with half and half and take it from there. When buying VG make sure its food grade and for internal use, i believe they sell them in supermarkets in the cake making/decorating aisles. Boots chemist is another option.

Lol - always looks good popping into a shop at this time of day and asking for nothing more than Vodka! That's the sort of behaviour that gets tongues wagging
