hello im new to the forums  Smiley , ive been a non smoker for three months,  with the help of my titan tank which i love, i decided id try to make my own mixes, the vap is ok apart from the odd coughing fit,  maybe something is too strong for me,  that was one question.  now the other is a mix of the following is supposed to be 10ml,  it half fills a 10ml bottle. please can someone help me before i cough my lungs out lol

70 drops 52 pg nic base
50 drops pg
40 drops vg
40 drops flavour

18mg strength

= 10mls

half fills 10 ml bottle

thanks for your help x

Hi Holly,

I too was a new mixer not long ago and it is a very daunting thing at first.

What are you using for a dropper??  The drop way of measuring things is not a very exact way of measuring and so could cause some discrepancy - but then again a 5ml diff is a large amount.

Why not try and use http://www.todmuller.com/ejuice/ejuice.php to get your calculations of the ratios.  Then looking at the ml measurements use a syringe to measure out all of the ingredients.

I just use a 1ml syringe when making up a mix as it can provide an accurate way of mixing.  Then you know what you put in will exactly make up 10ml.

As for the coughing thing,  try and increase the amount of VG that you use.  It will make the vape much less harsh.

Hi and welcome to the forum, you will find answers to all your questions here, and we are all very friendly.
First of all, don't measure in drops, its not accurate.
Use a syringe or a graduated measuring cup that's used for medicine, far easier and more accurate.
I use this calculator for my mixing and i find it works well.

Mixing is all about trial and error and once you find the right way for you it is easy.
Good luck, any thing your not sure of just ask,we are all here to help each other

first thank you for replying xx

my pg vg nic base are all in the same size dropper bottles and tw red tobbaco concentrate in its own botttle.

mixing by dropplets is daunting lol

i think il try and up the vg content tmaybe help the cough. i might also try and reduce my nic strength to 11mg, begining to think maybe 18mg strength is too strong for me.

thanks again  Cheesy x

It could be that the mix hasn't steeped enough yet leaving it harsher than normal. Besides the fact that droppers are horrid for mixing. Go with a syringe or graduated cylinder for improved accuracy. Not only that but drops per ml are different in each bottle dropper and also different fluids have different viscosity. I absolutely agree with using more VG in the mix to soften the hit or less nicotine. Good luck.

You won't poison yourself even if you vaped a bit of 72mg Wink
Ten seconds for receptors to preoccess the nic high so by hit two you'd know it's way to strong and you'd put it down. Not to mention the nicotine gives a massive hit at 36mg nevermind 72mg!!! Your welcome Smiley
