Greetings,
Received my first mixing kit from TW a few weeks ago and am very, very pleased with the results I got even with my first mix (lucky perhaps from what I have read).   I understand the differences between VG and PG as a simple base diluent but was wondering if there were any differences other than final mixing ratios when using PG nic as opposed to VG nic base.  Subtle taste nuances perhaps?  Any insights would be appreciated.  The reason I selected PG nic was because it is the default in the drop down list box and I overlooked it during my order (no complaints though).  Also, what seems to be more popular and why?
Thanks,
Phil – US Northern VA

Hi PK

The main difference you would notice with PG over VG would be throat hit but less vapor.

I try to mix with a 60/40 PG  so you get a decent throat hit with good vapour

Hope this helps..

its all personal , i like 80% Glycerin mix as i go for flavour over throat hit

but thats the wonder of mixing you can taylor the mix to just what you like, try some small mix's at differant % just to see how you feel.

VEGETABLE GLYCERINE is also a sweeter taste on its own and many say bringes out flavour more + increase's vapour on exhaile
Propylene Glycol give more throat hit

also a point to note is the way u vape will also change the taste , throad hit , vapour you get , differant methods DCT , tanks , Drippin , cartos can all taste completely differant with same juice.

some peopel are sensitive to PG too, so VG/AG works better for their vaping needs.

I like more vapor, less throat hit, so I usually am around 80/20 AG/PG by using AG based TI, AG dilutant, and a dash of PG (plus the PG from the flavor concentrate)
