This how I mix flavors!!!

« on: February 08, 2012, 07:17:41 PM »

Ok yes, I am an idiot, but now I'm wondering how many more of you have been doing the same.

The clear cap inside a bottle of PI I didnt know how to use it with my syringe. How many other people didn't know or figure out to take the dropper out of the black top cap?
I always just left that dropper in that other cap an never used them, I have a box full, as I mostly use syringes.

For some unknown reason, today I got into an new batch of PI and I looked at the clear inner cap and the dropper in the other box. Then I felt extremely dumb,  Embarrassed OMG take the dropper out and then you have the open holed cap to use with the clear syringe cap.

Guess this explains why I'm in a gaming clan called >XI< , stands for Xtreme Idiots!!!

So if you are like me and don't know you just grab the glass stem of the dropper give it a wiggle and pull the stem out of the cap.
Now you can take the cap with the bulb in it and squeeze the bulb at its base to push the bulb out the bottom of the cap
Wallah, now you can just put the stem back in the bulb and you have your dropper if you use them and a cap to use with the inner syringe cap!

Maybe I shouldn't be posting this?Huh  LOL  Too late now!!!

I'll try  Knoton

Here is the dropper and clear cap from inside PI bottle

this is the glass stem removed from the cap dropper it just pulls off

Then just remove the bulb from the cap, just push it thru the threaded end of cap and here is the assembled new dropper and cap to use syringes

how to use it with a syringe. tip it more of coarse

Sorry I didn't resize the pics

The cap seals yes, but it has 2 holes in the top.
1. That I stuck the syringe in.
2. A small air hole in the center right next to the post.

If you tip the bottle you will see the PI slowly go thru the tube/post. It will drip if you want to just hold it and count drips but its slow.
Nothing will leak out the air hole in the center unless you plug the post.

Now if you insert your syringe tip and draw out what you need it wont have time to leak and air will go into that hole in center to replace the volume of fluid your removing.
Basically it makes a vacuum and that center hole lets air in to allow it drip or so you can use a syringe.

So no it's not airtight and I wouldn't store it like that, but I knew there had to be a reason they made that internal cap like that.

Thanks Cyborg
In one of my first posts someone said that It wouldn't take long before I would be able to show people something new or find a new tip!

Of all the people I thought would have to know about this it would have been you and Knoton, since you to always seem to chime in with some enlightenment on most issues here.

No offense to anyone, as there are many helpful members who are very active on this forum.
Guess the newbs (like me) can teach us all a thing or two.    Tongue    LMAO

I'm still waiting for someone to say:  Well Duh I've been doing that for years!

I'm sure that most of you are too nice and just keep those kind of comments to yourselves.

LOL Lettie Tell me about it. I went Totally Wicked crazy right?

I have only been at it for less than a month so It was easy to figure up, and I was like OMG!!!
The total surprised me so much I had to figure how long it was going to take, no regrets though.

Well maybe one little one, I should have got a Tornado-c kit first instead of the t but I didn't know any better then. Now I will probably get the parts and switch when all my t attys die.

sounds like a good idea . . .  the same idea I had, but then I couldn't wait and I bought the kit about 3 weeks ago.   the flavor from the C is awesome!

hopefully you won't have to wait too much longer before they go on sale.

I started vapin mid-October and I still have a ways before I break even; but like you, it doesn't bother me!

I had no idea about that internal cap.
I thought it was some unnecessary extra protection.
When I open the bottle I throw it away the first time.

Some good thinking there, Thanks  Cheesy
