While driving past an accident I was using my Torpedo & thought what if that was me in that car, I had a horrible vision of my trusty e-cig going through my mouth and out of the back of my head.
When I got home I set to work making my bendy driving thing (got to think of a better name)
The hope is that in the event of an accident the bendy part will stop serious injury.
Do you think this will work or is it a stupid idea?

Pictures of prototype made from bits out of the broken things box total cost £1 for a USB light with the required bendy part.

That's a good idea, the only thing I would worry about is people wondering what I am doing/smoking in my car.

I love your diy skills cyborg Smiley

I believe something similar can be purchased from a.n.other vendor but certainly not for £1. Not sure about injury prevention, never really put that much thought into what would happen if an airbag exploding at a rate of about 140mph meets an ego battery sticking out of my mouth... surely not going to be a pretty sight.  Shocked

Man, that's weird.. I was driving a few weeks ago and had that exact same thought! I now always make sure I dont leave it wedged in my mouth when I'm driving!  Huh

I love the invention Cy.. but trust that its on the back burner until my PV stand is completed right?  Undecided  Wink

If you could put a camera on the end of this Bendy thing.. it would be doubley useful as the blokes could use it to slip under the door and check that their mrs is asleep when they're sneaking home from the pub?!  Cheesy

Yeah cy, they're available commercially on *gasp* some other site. Huh   But hey, yours is way cooler ('cause you made it yourself!), and cheaper too!  Grin

Ah, I am a great fan of scooters (vespa) and drive mine whenever the weather allows me to do that.
I have a Piaggio Liberty that is a scooter with bigger wheels.
I just love it, the best city ride there is  Grin
