I got tired of the lanyard style cases for the Tornado being either nonexistent or insufficient so I came up with this the other day for my Tornado-T.

Looks good. When you say you came up with it do you mean you made it or was it originally intended for something else?

That Kd0afk is one nice bit handy work. I love it. How have you decided to carry it? does it have a belt loop or is it designed for a lanyard?

I love home made things like this it just shows how creative people can be and you usually surprise yourself at what you can do when you have a bit of determination. Kudos mate

nice, I use the Joyetech lanyard thats on the TW site. Looks amazing I think but the only problem i have with it is that since its held in the centre when you wear it round your neck its like a big pendulum.

Have you found any issues with your design in respect of this where it swings about? I would presume since its pretty well supported top and bottom it doesn't suffer from this.

I've been thinking, a Torpedo would look great in one of these.

He he ..... his time has come arrived. Wink

I've had some more thoughts. As well as being able to carry it using the loop at the top for a neck strap how about a clip part way down the back for it to go on a belt. Then how about some sort of shoulder holster rig configured for a quick draw for those times when you're desperate.  Cool   Grin

I have no problems with it swinging around. If I run somewhere I can put it down my shirt.
I can make them in goofy girl colors. I can also make them in colors to match the Tornado.
I plan on going into production at the end of the month. I will have  Red and Black available to start but I can take requests.
I will also make a few in a patterned webbing.

Here is a shot of it around my neck.

I can make the Tote for a smaller unit like a titan but any larger would be way too much. I can make a belt holster for the Torpedo, that would work, but someone would have to give me a torpedo to make sure it fits Grin

That is an awesome design. It looks really sturdy. If I didn't have a lanyard already for my SD I would be interested in getting one of those, in a yucky girl color(s) like pink and black  Tongue
