Ok.. as we all know the Screwdriver switching method has caused some concern for lots of users... ok so Trog came up with idea of the black plastic cap to stop it fireing in your pocket... yes it worked....but in my opinion it was still a bit of mess on and tbh with regards to looks it didnt do the SD much justice.

So, keeping in mind appearance and function i came up with this locking switch idea.....one of the brilliant things about the SD switch is how easy it is to press...it's not like your even pressing it... it just works... simple..... so i used the spring that was allready fitted to the SD...the result is a switch that is so damn easy to use,,,,locks in a matter of seconds and in my opinon looks cool and does the SD more justice in the looks department........ anyway...let me know what you think....BTW honesty is the key word here lol .... oh and one other thing.... i didnt make this from scratch, i just had an idea with things i had at home and modified them as needed... a video of it in operation can be found here.. >>>>   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCoZyhXE52U&feature=plcp

That resolves the only problem that prevented me from ordering a screwdriver.
Would be interesting to note where to get parts and how to convert?
Looks great !!

very nice mod hoover. I would also like to know what you used and how you did this, as I am in agreement with you 100% that the plastic 'lock cap' is not a good answer. I love my SD but dont use it as often as I want because of the cap. its just awkward to me.

And welcome to the forum.  Cool Grin Cool

Hi agenthoover,

Apparently your mail-box is FULL...

Just had a look at my profile and my e-mail should be open to all?
Therefore I can't see any harm offering it here

I appreciate TW status regarding conflicts of interest, but am genuinely a TW afficionado, not interested in elsewhere
in terms of products and aftersales...

HOWEVER, I nee ee eed one of those switches, and would be very grateful if you could contact me regarding same?

Thank-you,

Billy

I'm sorry Agenthoover, but direct links to other suppliers/manufacturers products are not allowed. The forum is free for anyone to use and view but is primarily set up to support TW customers with TW products.

Informed debate about  non TW products is is quite welcome, but direct promotion is not permitted. I hope you can understand this.

We have a great community here, with members supporting each other with tips and tricks and just generally promoting the benefits of vaping, but obviously this forum is owned and supported by Totally Wicked Elquid and it is only fair that TW products are discussed here.

As I posted earlier, good informed debate of non TW products is welcome, but direct promotion is not, nor is the bashing of other companies or forums allowed here.
