Good Afternoon,

I haven't introduced my self yet so I thought I should do that now.

I am sitting here waiting somewhat impatiently for my Torpedo and Clearomisers to arrive.  In the meantime I've been reading up on the forums and asking some questions I thought might be appropriate to my situation.   I hope to hang out here for a while and to participate in the discussions to follow.  As I mentioned in another post I am not a full time smoker and I treat my vaping sessions like a hookah.  I mostly enjoy it for the flavors but the nicotine is something I like as well.

I'm a geek with a passion for cooking and molecular gastronomy and I hoping to infuse those hobbies with vaping at our next all adult dinner party.  I am going to try my hand at making some savory VG tinctures over the next few months.   Not-Yo-Chese ... lol ..  Undecided

My Best Regards,
Canniscam

Hello Canniscam and welcome to the forum.
Hope you gonna like your new Torpedo.
I have not tried it myself.
Molecular gastronomy sounds very interesting and like a good knowledge to have when mixing.
Maybe we have our new flavourguru here  Cheesy

Knoton,

Thanks for the warm welcome I appreciate the sentiment.

I am really excited about the Torpedo so I hope it doesn't take too much longer to arrive.

Some of the things I am hoping to try out with the tincture extracts:

A pico de gallo style vapor to go along with deconstructed tacos.  (This one will probably be the most complicated.. not quite sure yet how to infuse the glycerine with all of the flavor profiles.. still working on it.)

A chocolate cayenne vapor to serve with vanilla ice cream as desert..

Or maybe a sweet balsamic vinegar vapor to serve with caramelized apple/pear galette tarts. (non-inhaled just held on the tongue and pallet)

Casey

These types of e-liquids will most likely be nicotine free as a majority of our dinner party guests will be non-smokers.
