Hello everybody

As I'm the noob... thought I'd perhaps better do the decent thing and make a post to say hi  Wink

I got the Tornado Tank last Wednesday and began the learning experience,  The SD MkII arrived today an hour or so ago and I'm still breaking it in, hope it'll begin to give me a kick soon Roll Eyes

I'm getting on alright with the Black Label juice, it's still early days yet and as it looks like I have so much and so many to choose from, how am I ever going to decide? Undecided

Anyway, that's more than enough wibbling-on from me...  Lips sealed

Kind regards
Steve

Welcome Geeker

SD with the Tank is definately the way to go.

Funny thing about flavours, in my old ways I found a brand I liked and stuck to it, and would only consider buying something else if my regulars were out of stock.

Totally different with vaping, I love to experiment with different flavours, and while at first I stuck to tobacco flavours I now seem to prefer the fruit ones.

Some really helpful stuff on these boards, and some really helpful folks if you can't find the answers you are looking for.

Welcome!  You have two very excellent pieces of gear to start with, there Wink  There's always a learning curve with something new, but these forums are an excellent source of info.  Pretty much all the little quibbles people tend to encounter with these items have been had and overcome by many other users.  Don't be afraid to post any questions you may have, as we're a pretty helpful bunch Wink

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody, what a nice friendly bunch of people you are on here Wink

As you can probably imagine, I did read a huge amount online and scoured youtube about e-cigs before I made my choice of which one to go for initially, the T-Tank seemed like the obvious choice for me, I can't be doing with all that faffing about dripping and topping up every few puffs  Roll Eyes

After trying it and finding out that I got on alright with what was included in the the T-Tank kit, I ordered some Black Label juice Real Tabs 36mg and was fine with that too. The next logical step was the the Screwdriver MkII, the battery life really is a huge improvement, the only thing that I'm not getting on with is having to top up after every few puffs

So... I have just ordered the 901-510 adapter, the 510 CE2 Clearomiser (2.4-2.6), another T-Tank Atomizer for when one of them dies and thought I'd try a T-Tank 1.7ohm Low Resistance Atomizer to see what difference it makes?  Undecided

To be honest, I'm not really sure about trying any of the flavours yet, hmmm... should I try them or not I've ordered some more Black Label juice Real Tabs 36mg and will be trying some of the T.W. Titan Fluid Tobacco 36mg and while I was at it, thought I might as well chuck in some Herculian Wicked Tobacco 36mg

Well, that little lot lot should keep me busy for a while hopefully! ...it certainly drained the bank account big time, so I'll have to survive on just bread and scrape for the rest of the month now!

Kind regards
Steve

Hi Geeker,

If you ordered this:
http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/tornado-tank-ecig/sd-mkii-901-510-tank-conversion-kit-product.html

You can use the tank on the SD, the normal 901 to 510 adapter isn't quite long enough for this purpose Sad

II think you will like the 1.7ohm Tank Atomiser Grin

Good Luck Wink

Hi Astrecks

I was going to order the adapter kit you put the link for, but unfortunately, it said it was out of stock.

It is really confusing for us noobs having all these different numbers, adapters and fittings, so I thought it best to ring TW and ask if it was the correct adapter for the SD MkII to put the T-Tank atty onto the SD, she said it was the right one, so that's what I added to my order. http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/ecig-multi-adaptors/901-510-adapter901808d-1-bat-to-510-at-product.html

I have a feeling they are mistaken, but I will stand corrected if I'm wrong,  but you can still use it for the clearomisers and normal 510 atomisers. I noticed he standard tank with the SD adapter is sold out, but this is in stock Grin

http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/tornado-tank-ecig/sd-mkii-901-510-mega-tank-conversion-2-product.html

It has a large 2ml capacity tank Smiley

But you are correct, the website is becoming ever so confusing, even for us "oldies"  Huh

Thank you for letting me know about it Astrecks Wink

Urrrghhh, I really don't like waiting heh

I couldn't hang around until Monday for the other adapter to arrive, so I got my thinking hat on and a few minutes later, I'm now happily vaping on my SD MkII with a self modified T-Tank atomiser

Loving it!

Hi Folks
I'm from Somerset UK too!!! Been using t tank for couple of months, started off with virginian gold (used to be roll up smoker) found it was good, but was given some watermelon, didn't think I would like it, but wow it is great! have tried choc and strawberry, but not keen, flavours are very personal.

That's very true, Lynn.  Flavors do tend to be very personal, but with so very many of them to choose from there's something for everyone Wink

I'm really into my flavours at the moment.

Watermelon, strawberry and cherry being my faves, but coffee not so, although that's the one everyone said I would love.. So yes, it really is a personal thing.

At least when you have thirty posts you are able to trade stuff you arent fond of on the forum.
