Hey all I am really hoping some of you experienced vapers can give me some advice? I am new to the e-cig world and have a few questions. I bought an ego-T and have been using it for 2 weeks now. I find it good but not great. I was thinking of gettting something differnt but I dont want to waste my money so I am lloking for advice first. Is there anything i can do to improve the ego-t, I use the tank carts, 24mg cherry flavor liquid. Can you drip idrectly onto the atomizer? Any advice and recommendations would be very much appreciated Thanks

If you are a new user, direct dripping is probably not the way to go. The Ego-C is pretty much a direct drip system anyway. What is it about the Ego-C that you don't like?

Is the Ego-T the new name for the Tornado Tank?
What are you comparing the TH to? Smoking? Are you getting a lot of Vapor from it? A lot is more than you would an analog. Is it difficult to inhale? Have you bought a kit with a spare? Have you tried using the spare and does it have the same effect?

Yeah ego T and tornado tank are the same thing
Dripping can sort of be done but not worth the end result I think
The tornado t is good but you suck too hard you flood the atomizer suck to gentle and no liquid gets to the coil Flooding the atty means you get liquid in your mouth potentially, leaking and little vapour
Dry burning as with no liquid getting to the coil and you get a burnt taste
Tbh the ego c is the upgrade to the T and worth it in my opinion plus atomizers come in packs of 5 for £20 so works out much cheaper than replacing a T atomizer at a tenner

Hi galwaygirl32, welcome to the forum The Tornado T is still a great performing e-cig, but you might need to change your vaping technique to get the most from your e-cig, they are different from tobacco cigarettes in that you need to take a long light draw of around 5 to 8 seconds, rather than short sharp puffs as you would with a tobacco cig.

I'm also a newbie and wasn't satisfied with my stock Ego setup. Now I'm using the vision Ego V2 (long wicks) clearomizer, I get tons of vape and much better flavor. It might be worth a try, I'm very happy with mine.

When I first got the eGo-C I was used to using the CE3's so I could not quite get the vape technique right. After a while tho you suddenly get it and it works amazing now. eGo-C is now my fave vape .

Hi Gal Tried posting earlier but for some reason it didn't come out I too use the Tornado-T and agree it does have some faults but they're beginning to grow on me as I get more used too it. I picked up a dual coil tank DCT last week stuck it on my tornado battery and boom it made a world of difference. Best way to describe this was like getting off a moped and onto a sportsbike mmmmmmmmmNmNmNmNmMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMOOOOoooowwwwwwwmmmm

All I can sugesst is to hang in there with a bit of possitive persistance take smaller drags, like everyone else is saying ie more vapour and maybe try different flavours you can alway's go back to the Cherry and is one of my favourites Mind you I was quiet brave and started using and mixing my own flavours and mixes from day one of vaping it's really turned into a good hobby, I take it your getting the pre-mixed liquid? I've only tried the Tobacco one maybe a small drop on the atomiser to get it going, no more though. I wish I could help you further, but I haven't got an ego T, but I'm sure there's loads of people on the forum to answer any questions you have about the ego T might be a few pointers in tips and tricks section of the forum

i had a problem with attys and leaking fluid,i changed to the mega cartomiser and im set for life, its a fantastic bit of kit and 3 for £9:99 is perfect for me,they each last about 7-10 days for me and they hardly need filling once you fill it first time,no more liquid leaks or mouth full of liquids for me,give them a go and see what you think, you only really need to change your atty to cartos as your battery will always be your battery

Hi, Galwaygirl, I think that vaping is just like buying a new car, we all want different things, we all like different aspects of it, but it all boils down to the same thing in the end, getting clouds of luverly vapour combined with a great throat hit !!! I love my SDmk11 with black CE3 smokimisers, and have yet to try any of the newer tank systems that are out there, I guess that I will, eventually, but I am happy with my present set-up (no doubt more experienced vapours will think my set-up old fashioned...lol) and so in no rush to change!!! once you find the right set-up for you, you will be alright happy vaping!! kind regards, maryon

Not at all Maryon. I've only just switched to the DCT myself. 'Old fashioned' works very well

Hi galwaygirl32...
Welcome to the forums first off. This is quite possible one of the best groups of people out there to be in a online community with, lots of friendly help and advice for you to consider when you need it.
Myself, I have been vaping since nov of '11... i quit the annies the day i got my first tornado (the tanks weren't out back then, oh the old days. :p ) and i was also mixing from day one and it has been a fantastic ride. as far as your inconsistency issues go, thus is the nature of the vaping beast in my experience. i have had fills where i have gotten enough vapor that i have been forced to open my car window so i could see, and then other days its all i can do to get a small wisp of vapor to show itself (personally i think this has something to do with the environment your in, since your essentially exhaling water vapor you will see it more on some days and less on others. think of it like exhaling on a cold day vs. a hot day, you will obviously see your breath on a cold foggy morning but not on a cool autumn night). This is something that has taken me some time to get use to myself, but i can feel the airflow in my mouth as i take a 'drag' and so i know im getting something out of the system at a minimum so its still worth trudging along when it looks like im not getting much.
As far as your TH is concerned, im not a big fan of the sand-paper feeling in my throught, and so i use PG in my mixes. if you are wanting a deeper TH, then try getting some juice that is made with a VG base as it is suppose to have a deeper TH than PG base mixes. i cant remember which is suppose to give off more vapor (perhaps one of the uber posters can address this if im wrong) but i think the PG is suppose to give off more vapor than the VG does.
When you get down to your bottom line and spending your hard earned money on new gear and juice's. think of it like this... despite getting rid of the poison for your body that is a annie, this IS a hobby. try and approach it like that. when your getting into a new hobbie most people will buy new 'gear' just to see if its their next great thing even if its an older idea/product or just off the production line. dont be scared to buy new things (in moderation of course) until you find what is just right for you. i.e. your on the tornado/ego T now... try the C, it might just be what your looking for. or even try the CE3's or some of the other tank systems out there until you find what is right for you. Most of the delivery systems and atomizers out there use the 510 fitting, which is what a tornado/ego use, so chances are 9 times out of 10 you wont have to worry about a different battery system unless you actually want one.
it is only a waste of money if you get nothing from it in the learning process and your vaping experience. you will get to a point just like most of us where you find what works great for you and you love it, and at that point you will (like most of us) look forward to trying the new products that come out, both hardware and juices.
I hope ive helped out some, feel free to PM me if you have any other ?'s

Hiya galwaygirl32 (and LoQuid) just wanted to point out that LoQuid has got it the wrong way round, PG is for throat hit, VG smooths out the hit and adds a bit of sweetness to a mix, as well as boosting the vapour production. Happy vaping.
