I've been trying to vape for years now, I finally did it, I'm starting to love vaping, I'm getting kinda tired of the 510, I love the screwdriver, and am liking the tank systems much better than the old drip system, that leaked all over and was super inconvenient, I'm loving the fact that I don't stink like cigarettes, and I also will love the savings when I get there, I spent a lot on the e-cigs so it's not saving money yet, but it will be soon.  Everyone was so supportive when I tried to switch before, and I'm grateful for that because that's part of the reason I kept trying, so thanks to everyone in the forum that has been inspirational to not just me but other vapers!

I too have found the initial outlay quite high but i know in time that it will get less although i an still waiting for the B txpe ego c and i kinda figure that will be my last major expense for a while? Well, least until the next shiny new bit of kit comes out!!
I have enough juice to last me s  a couple of months and plenty to be mixing with aswell, loads f spares so hopefully I'll start saving a bit now.
Since todays budget put 37p on a packet of cigarettes I'll be saving even more!
Are you in the UK?

I'm from the US, how do people react to seeing you vape in public? I notice that they kind of act like it's a regular cigarette here, and it's not allowed in public places.

I get a different reaction but I don’t use anything that remotely resembles an analogue cigarette.
I have been accused of having a bong when I had a big battery mod with a 6ml DCT on it.

Mmm...resembles a bong? Very suspicious...lol
I use my screwdriver in public, some people ask and i explain what it is.
I use it at work, they know what it is,they showed interest to start, had a wee go on it,some liked it and asked where it came from, others just thought i was being odder than usual.
We are in the minority at the moment, but i look to the future and see this becoming the norm,
its cheaper,in many respects healthier,it dont stink.
Let people think what they like,i dont care,i like it,if they took a minute to understand it they may like it too.

I would like to see that Cyborg Smiley

I kind of want to try a flavor other than the newport flavor that I've been using but not sure where to start with that. I read some of the flavor topics but I keep thinking it's going to be like one of those gross flavored cigars.

Everyone's taste is different, you may like one line and i would hate it,
i wanted to get off the tobacco favoured ones and went with a simple blueberry flavour and now i tend to stick to
fruit flavour,i mixed my own cherry and cinnamon,i have an apple concentrate that
i will make up tomorrow so its ready for Monday,i read somewhere you should leave
you mix a couple of days after its made to let the best from it.
You will in time find your all day vape but even then i suggest you don't always use it as
i find it gets bland after a while.
Also flavour you don't like at first try it next month and it may taste totally different, foot know why,it just does.
I wish you luck in your quest for a nice flavour, let up all know how you get on.

Do I just add it to the regular pre mixed liquid? and I'm sure if you do you add it to the flavor you like, but is there a guideline for how much to add? I've been adding about 10 drops of newport to the tobacco flavored, and 5 drops to the menthol flavored in the 10ml bottle, what liquid would be best to add the flavors to?

mixing from scratch i mean, you would need flavour concentrate,a dilutant,a base nicotine,an empty bottle and a syringe or measuring cylinder. Its the next step in vaping, make what ever you fancy.
