Hi everyone! I've been "lurking" since yesterday on your forum & doing a bit of research, there is sooo much information on here so thank you! I'm 28 and smoke roughly 25-30 full strength cigarettes a day but after looking into it (and reading lots on this wonderful forum!) I'm going to give vaping a go! I'm planning on buying the Titan starter pack but I was just wondering if there is anything else I should buy that's not included in there but which I will need?? Sorry if this is a stupid question, am completely new to all this! Many thanks for your help!

Hi Becks Welcome to the forum Titans are a popular first time device but be aware that you may want to upgrade to something with a longer battery life. In the long term it could be less expensive going for the eGo C to start with (only my opinion). Whatever you decide to buy get extra atomisers and some e liquid, you require e liquid not the concentrate. Remember the only stupid question is the one you don’t ask.

Welcome Becks! Good to hear you're gonna give this vaping business a go.. you would struggle to find many people on here who wouldn't say that it was one of the best decisions they ever made! As far as kit is concerned.. are you looking to order the Titan or Titan Tank starter kit? The best thing in my opinion, is firstly to do what you have done and ask for advice on this excellent forum. Following on from that, i would say that it is wise not to buy a great deal of anything until you've had at least your first full day with your new precious.. and reckon it's something you could really get into. Most people take to vaping quite easily but as with anything, there are adjustments to be made and things to get used too. The kits are designed to come with everything you need to get you started. The only possible problem I can see is Battery based. I see you're a reasonably heavy smoker (I was a 20 a day guy at the time I switched) are you planning on just Vaping from the moment you get your kit, or still smoke alongside the vaping? The reason I ask is that the Titan battery will run out of charge after some hours of use.. and you might be stuck with nothing whilst it's charging up? I'm not sure how long a Titan Battery takes on a usb? one of the regular Titan users will clarify but I would think it would take at least a couple of hours? So that's something to consider maybe? Though there are passthroughs and other solutions but won't confuse things right now! Anyway.. after that.. I would definately look to get at least one spare Atomiser but ideally a couple would be best.. as funds allow, then flavours.. then the world is your Vaporiser as they say.. Anyway.. let us know how you get on! Cheers.

Hi Becks and welcome to the forum
Definately get some spare atomisers and perhaps a multipack of juice, the prefilled cartridges/tanks in the kits will only last a couple of days if that, it depends how heavy you vape, the average most go through a day could be anything between 2-4 mls so you dont want to chance running out of liquid.
I would suggest to go for a tank kit, less fuss and easy to refill. If you want something smallish, go for the titan tank kit, battery life is ok, the tornado tank kits are bigger with longer lasting batteries,
The new Ego C tank kit is perhaps the best choice, that kit comes with 5 atomisers, so all you would need to buy then is extra liquid. Have a look at some of the video tutorials on the shop site and see which ones would suit you the best.
Any questions just ask, we are here if you need us.

Hmm.. For some reason, I thought those starter kits came with 20ml bottle of Liquid but I see that it's only a 10ml. In which case caz makes a good point.. that isn't gonna last you very long. A lot of people tend to vape a bit more when first making the transition too. So 'assuming you're set on the Titan' and if you go for the Titan Tank (Which i would out of the two) the Tanks tend to chew through a bit more juice. Though it's worth it! If it were me I'd get as follows.. 1 x Spare battery 1 x Spare Atomiser (Or a multipack if funds allow) 2 x 10 ml bottles of Pre mixed E Liquid (So you can get a feel for the flavours) That set up would allow you to properly test things out and still allow time to get another order in without too much hastle. I tended to make a lot of smaller orders when first working out what's best. Now I have so much, my wife enjoys taking every opportunity to remind me how I always used to moan when she bought another bit of Tupperware.. Now I can't get enough of the stuff to hold my ever expanding collection! Enjoy.

You only get a 10ml bottle if you buy one of the compact kits which only has one atty and one battery, the regular kits with two batteries and two attys come with the prefilled tanks, 5 altogether approximately 1ml in each of varying mg strength, so really its a must to get more juice, i would get at least 30mls worth of juice in various flavours, that way when you go to make your next order you;ll have a rough idea what sort of flavours you like. I would also start with the 18mg strength, get some tobacco and maybe a fruity flavour, if you dont like one of the tobacco flavours you can always add some of the fruity flavour to it, very tasty http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/totally-wicked-eliquid/totally-wicked-e-liquid/5ml-totally-wicked-electronic-cigarette-product.htmluse discount code NY2012 in January to get 20% off.

Hi, Firstly thank you so much for your replies, you've all been really helpful, it's much appreciated! I've decided to go for the Titan tank starter kit, I watched the videos for that and the normal Titan and it just looks a lot less fiddly to refill! Also that was a great point about the battery and i think this one looks like it would last a bit longer. I've also added two bottles of liquid to my order, one tobacco and one strawberry, I wouldn't have thought of that so thanks! they seem to be out of stock of the Titan tank atomisers does anyone know roughly how long the two that come in the kit would last? Also I was thinking last night about this a lot (need to get out more lol!) but I was just wondering how many of you still smoke normal cigarettes or do you not bother with them anymore since doing this? Thanks again for all your help! Becks P.S that did make me laugh about the tupperware

Welcome to the forum. I am also a newbie but I would say that most transition from smoking to vaping. I was doing both for about 3 days before I just couldn't stomach the smell anymore and went strickly to vaping. There are a few post that I have read that people have been vaping for approx 1 year and still smoke. Its all preference. Once you find flavors that you like, it will be hard to think about smoking tobacco flavors lol. I wake up thinking about the banana (tastes alot like banana taffy) or coffee and caramel. Like I said, its all preference. Good luck and if you have any questions feel free to ask. This group has a lot of information to help guide you in the right direction!!

Hey Becks, Good work. That should be enough to get you started. Good to see you got the extra liquid with flavour variety. That's definitely the way to go about it.. I always think its nicer to start with the pre mix in smaller bottles whilst you work out what you like, as there's nothing worse than having a large bottle of something you don't like! Though you can get into the trades section later on once you reach 30 posts. It is a little bit more expensive but its only for the short term. Just keep an eye on how much juice you're getting through because as Caz says.. Running out is just the worst! >: (. In terms of the Titan tank Attie lifespan, tricky for me to answer on that as ive never used one on A Titan. I'm a Tornado Ego C user, though I do have a regular Titan which i take for the odd meal out. If they are like the tornado T atties which i used to use, i tended to get a couple of weeks out of mine before they started to go off the boil.. But many on the forum have all kinds of weird and wonderful cleaning regimes, which they reckon can extend their atties life almost indefinitely?! So take a look at that, and spend some time in the 'Titan' section of the forum for some good tips. Have fun and hit us all up with any questions!

Hi Becks, and welcome.
Have you received your kit yet? What colour did you choose?
I've been using the Titan Tank for a little while (before that I was using the Tornado Tank), until I recently switched to the Ego.
Here are some tips with the Titan Tank that I have learned:
1) The two batteries you get with the kit should last a full day. I took the larger battery to work and had the smaller one on charge, and when I got home, I would switch them over. 2) The atomisers will generally last about 2 months each, although they will decline before then. I found that when the gold paint around the atomiser wore off, it was time to change it; this is not a defect. My vaporisers take a lot of punishment. 3) If you feel that your vaping is less satisfying after a few weeks, it is time to change the atomiser. 4) If you feel that your vaping is less satisfying after a new atomiser, you need a higher nicotine solution. 5) Vaping is not a way to give up smoking. If you want to smoke as well, feel free to do so. I will have one or two a week if other people are smoking around me, but I don't carry my own. If you feel dizzy or nauseous, cut down on the vaping. 6) Remember to order more supplies before you run out. Buy little bottles of flavour and have fun experimenting. You will get used to any flavour quite quickly, meaning that you won't be able to taste it anymore. Switching between flavours keeps the flavour strong.
Hopefully this will be of some use to you.
