My Experience so for on vaping

Hi there to all thought I would just ad my thoughts on vaping so far. I am quite new only 7 weeks in total it all started out one morning going to the pharmacy to pick up the wife tablets and they had on the counter some e-cigs which I wont name the brand was a starter pack for £24.99 after trying patches and nasal sprays and even being hypnotize nothing had worked so far, I thought it wasn't much to pay out so I bought it, got home at around 10-30 inserted a new cartridge and I couldn't believe how good it was I still had 14 real cigs left and after all this time they are still there but will be putting them in the bin today before I forget. I just haven't missed them one bit. only thing was I was on these e-cigs for 6 weeks and was getting really bored with the taste and not getting the throat hit any longer and was becoming to have to use the e-cig a lot more frequent and I mean a lot. Than one night started to look around on the web and found the totallywicked website first thing I saw was the odyssey right on top of there menu page as a engineer myself I could see a lot of work had seam to go into this so I pre ordered one, they only bad thing I had to wait for the release day by this time I was really getting fed up with these e-cigs I was using, and nearly ended up smoking the few real cigs I had left but I did manage with a struggle didn't give into temptation, Thursday 28th June came and there it was my brand new odyssey and new e-liquids couldn't wait to open it, I did buy a mixture of liquids some ready made up and a few which needed to be mixed up I couldn't wait so went for the flavours already mixed up. I am a man that doesn't normally swear but that morning when I had my first few puffs saying to my other half why were these things not around 35 years ago when I started smoking 30 a day the taste and hits you get from it unbelievable will be honest as new to vaping I haven't tried any others I don't think I need to. also in the last couple of days I had my first go at making my own liquids with the titanium ice kit and mixed it a 11mg final strength I not to sure on how cigarettes are compared to with the nicotine and tar and all the other bits in it but I am pretty dam sure I feel better and must on a lower nicotine intake than from smoking before. Thats all for now but how happy I am I had a go and also finding the totallywicked website.

I usually say I hate those *insert brand name* 'e-cig' kits that are flogged in pharmacies for exactly the reasons you discovered... they just don't work so well. Just passable, and sadly overpriced for what they are. I'm sure that many a smoker has bought them and gone back to smoking after a short while. Luckily, a few people use their clout and have a look online after being 'introduced'... and some strike lucky when they find Totally Wicked. Without a shadow of a doubt, Totally Wicked is the best website any new vaper (or experienced vaper) could come to, because they don't blind their customers senseless with a thousand different 'latest' devices/mods/carto systems *insert fad name here*, and my god there are tons of options around, making some online sellers baffling even to an experienced vaper! They do sell goods that are the latest developments, the highest quality (genuine parts as well), backed with great CS and warranty, and with extra support such as the forum. I'm really pleased you found them, and this forum!

Congrats on not going back to those 14 cigs too! I'm sure it was worth the wait for you

I had the greatest pleasure when my daughter put my half pack of tobacco in the bin after
I'd been vaping for 6 months! I never touched it in those 6 months, it just sat there, but I preferred to
get my nicotine fix by e-cig! She was so proud of me when she threw that tobacco away I felt
wonderful!

So I just wanted to say, it only gets better from here!!

Well done discorama, my story is not dissimilar to yours in that I tried a load a like first in fact many of them but none really cut it, they did for the first few days just long enough for me to spend a fortune on replacement carts. I found I still had o have the analogs as they just weren't doing it for me.

I have severe dyspraxia and when I started smoking all my symptoms well most of them disappeared, my shakes were gone, my inability to socialize fixed etc. it was like becoming someone new, this I have found out is the affects of the dopamine etc which I lacked being released in my brain. So I needed the nicotine. The only problem is the delivery mechanism was killing me slowly and the social acceptance of this drug had disappeared.

So back to my story, I still have some real fags but not many just when I need the hit fast, as I find ecigs work but not as fast, so first thing in the morning and after a long meeting etc. I however persevered, and found a mod which I won't mention but the tank system leaked, I then kept going and going until I now own so many ecigs the wife is telling me to chuck some.

I love vaping though and the odyssey is the best mod I have, I even prefer it to my torpedo, maybe it is the double hole making it wick better, I don't know I just know I havent had a cig in 2 days as I am being satisfied by it, and it takes away the issues.

Anyway back to what I was saying I wish I had found totally wicked sooner as I would have saved a lot of money, I now do all major purchases from Barry grant a local reseller, try before I buy and I have to say his service is excellent.  He even mixes flavours for mr and is trying to get me to mix my own, haven't taken that plunge yet and don't think the wife would like to see any more kit lying around.

I only just joined this forum yesterday and am finding it very informative and friendly I look forward to many years of vaping and better and better mods and flavours.
