Hi Rabidrabbit
Welcome to the forum.
As far as I remember you should have 5 Cartridges ranging from low to high nicotine strength, the labelling on the packaging of the cartages could be very hard to see.

I do notice some lettering on the cellophane the carts are wrapped in....but not sure how to interpret them.
example: TOB*HIG???

What do I make of that?

Lol I've been vaping with Totally Wicked nearly 5mths now, the other day we were out in the Garden doing the post winter clean up and the Mr. said to me, where did all this "dibs" on the back porch come from ( a local term for cigarette butts) and I sweetly smiled and said "your mate who comes round and stinks my house up" Wink

Okay....well I had my first few puffs on the thing. I have to say my first impression was that it felt just like smoking a real ciggarrette. The flavor reminded me of a regular ciggarette on first impression too. Wink

The down side is I opened one of the sample cartridges and threw away the packaging. So basically, I have no idea what the strength is and after 4 puffs I am feeling a bit on the light headed side. I'm gonna wait a bit before I give it another go.

Is it typical to feel a bit weird the first time? Huh

Oh and to turn the battery off AND on click 5 times - is that right??

Welcome to the forum Rabidrabbit,

Yes.. The you can clck the ego c battery 5 times to turn it off and on. It shoud flash blue a few times in quick succession if you've done it correctly.
As for the pre filled carts.. You would have been given 2xhigh, 2xmedium and 1xlow. So if you look at what's left in the box.. You should be able to work out what's currently in the device!  Smiley

Ps: it's not common to get slightly light headed when first hitting the Vape. Particularly if it's a high tank you've got in there. You will find your happy Vaping level pretty quick. In the meantime, just take a break if you feel like your onto to too much of a good thing!

Enjoy!  Wink

Yes that is correct

For some there is an adjustment period. Sore throats from the dryness of the vapor are not unusual.... It helps if you drink plenty of fluids. Lightheadedness is a sign of too much nicotine stop using the device if this happens. Come up for air. New toy syndrome will have you puffing away while your amazed with the wonders of your newfound kit.

I hate to say this but you may want to dive after it and find out what strength it is
On the webpage it lists the contents of the kit
(2 x high 18mg, 2 x medium 11mg, 1 x low 8mg)

So you may be able to deduct from that what your first one was

Lol.. Actually.. Not quite so redundant after all. Thanks to this stupid iPads keyboard, if you try to rush type as I did (was late for a dinner) then it misses out whole letters and even words! Just read back what I typed and it barely made any sense!  Roll Eyes so some clarification was definitely needed.  Smiley

P.S: I can actually spell.. But this virtual keypad is really not doing me any favours at all!  Angry  Wink

appreciate all the responses.....

so i went to use my new toy for the second time and it seems like there is ZERO vapor coming out. I just feel the battery getting heated up as I try and draw on it...

am I doing something wrong or is this cartridge a dud?  Embarrassed

When I first put it in a few hours ago I got 5 real good puffs off it. Seems weird its not working at all. (and yes, Im quite sure I turned the battery back on because it did the blinky thing)

Hi rabbit, welcome to the forum  Smiley
If you can't access the video tutorial then we'll need to try to walk you through it...  don't worry, once you get the hang of it you'll find it very easy to use.  Smiley
Firstly, turning the battery on and off is only really useful if you're thinking of putting it into your pocket unprotected by a case... you won't want accidental activation and especially if you put it into a handbag... protect it from getting scratched by loose change or keys and suchlike by using the black baggie supplied with the kit.
When you're using it or it's sitting on a table, there's no need to de-activate it, that will quickly become a nuisance trying to remember whether it's turned on or off...
If you have no vapour now I'm wondering whether the tank has been properly pierced?  When you put the tank onto the atomiser, you'll notice a spike down inside the cone...this contains the wick and the spike should pierce the new tank cap. You could pull out the tank and check that there's now a hole through the cap...the tank needs to be seated well and it takes quite some pressure with a new tank... be sure that there's no gap or ridge between cone and tank... it should give an audible "click" when it's put in place. Now give a little twist to the tank, that will ensure that the little chad pushed out by the spike isn't obstructing the flow of juice.
Twist the mouthpiece into a position comfortable for you to vape, press the button and hopefully, away you go  Smiley
Oh, and most importantly, hold your ego-C with the battery end down, not up in the air like an analogue.... you need the help of gravity to keep your e-juice flowing downwards onto the atomiser... (with thanks to Lettie for the reminder how important this is and how easily overlooked!)
If there's still no joy, bunny, come straight back and we'll try a few more tricks to pin-point the problem. Grin

Thanks pufferfish, Cheesy

I just changed the cartridge and now we're cooking! Works awesomely. I don't know what happened with the first one....I just tossed it since it wasn't working.

You mentioned carrying these things in the pouch. I'm a little disappointed the carry pouch is kinda cheesy and doesn't look like it would offer too much protection at all. Are there cool hard cases for these things available?

Also, the prefilled carts are easy to use, I'll probably post again crying for help when I have to fill up my own cart.
It seems like the hole in the cart I fill myself is very large.
I don't get how the liquid isn't going to just fall out.
But I will worry about that in a day or two when I get to it.  Tongue

So far having fun with this product....

If you ever have placed a straw in a drink then covered the top of the straw and lifted it out of the drink with the liquid still inside .... it's much the same principle

When you inhale on the atomiser it creates somewhat the same as effect as lifting your finger from the top of the straw .... accept in this case you are replacing gravity with vacuum.

Cool. thanks for that explaination. Makes sense.

1 more question if I may.....I noticed when I open the atomizer it is wet. When I refill carts am I supposed to wet the atomizer with the e-juice each time?

And how long does an atomizer typically last before needing to be replaced???

Appreciate all the help. This stuff is exciting but does take some figuring out., Tongue

Hi rabbit,
there's no need to wet the -C atomiser when you change tanks, but if you vaped it dry before refilling (it's so tasty that most of us have done that from time to time) then you can do what's known as a "cold draw" before you vape the new tank...that is to draw a couple of times without pressing the button to activate the battery; then you'll be pulling fluid down the wick and into the heating coil without battery power to vapourise it, thus wetting the atomiser.
No need to do this unless you've vaped it dry though, you don't want to have too much juice in there or you may flood it...if that happens and it's gurgling, you'll need to take it apart and blow the excess juice out of the atomiser, into a tissue.
It's really a lot simpler than it  sounds, you'll very soon get the feel of how hard/soft to draw on the mouthpiece to get the best vape... remember to pull it softly but firmly, for three to five seconds; not short and sharp like an analogue.
The length of time an atomiser will last you will depend a lot on your useage and technique; anywhere from two to six weeks would be about average.
I see Caz just gave you a link for the hard carrying case whilst I was typing....
Have fun  Cool

thanx puffer...you give great detailed responses. thanx much.

caz...thanx for the link. i feel like i def need a case and will buy this one, but wish there were more options.
a girl loves her accessories! lack of options for them is a bit of a bummer.

the stainless steel ones are more exciting but not sure it would fit my C model......?
