Can anyone tell me how a hit on the eCig compares to a cigarette?

In other words, if I would normally be satisfied with one analog, how many hits (10ml) Titan 510 should I need to equal the one analog?

Very new to this so any information will be helpful!

I must admit I never give it a thought.
Who in all honesty calculates the amount of nicotine they ingest when smoking a stinky?
They simply light one up when they feel they want one, that’s how I vape  Wink

I just vape as much as I can. If nicotine is bad for me then I will find out later in life for now I am very happy.

Hiya,

Never though about this.. But I think cigarettes vary an awful lot in how much nicotine they contain. Also, would depend on the strength liquid you use too. The 510 tank holds 0.5 ml liquid, so suppose you could work it out from there? I think the nicotine strength on liquid listed as mg are actually percentages..

Personally I like a low strength liquid as I like chuffing away for a longer period of time.

Currently our eliquids are expressed in milligrams per millilitre (mg/ml). So for example 18mg/ml means in 1ml of eliquid there is 18mg of nicotine. This works out to be 1.8% of the volume.

I tend to agree with this, when I first started, I used 18mg, and were forever trying to work out how much nicotine I were absorbing, as too much too quick gave similar effects to too many analogues.  I'm now, eventually down to sometimes as low as 2mg and rarel more than 4mg.
This way, when am bored or in house I can vape away blissfully, however my crave for nicotine is so low, I often forget about it comoletely when at horses etc...

Hi STBASE00!

I don't think this answers your specific question but maybe will help get you the "rough" answer; I googled "How many miligrams of nicotine in a cigarette and got this back from "Yahoo answers":

"1 cigarette is approximately equal to 1 mg of nicotine given transdermally. This is why people who smoke 1 pack of cigarettes per day (20 cigarettes) normally start on a 21 mg nicotine patch.
Source(s):
Physician and nicotine researcher"

Hopefully from this you can extrapolate/do the math & get a rough answer?
Hope this helps!
