I would go with VG platinum ice and 4 ounce PG. Then add another bottle of AG to the order to make any adjustments needed.

No matter what you buy I recommend getting PG and AG (diluted VG) diluents to tweak the mixes in any direction.

Ok lots of answers to your questions can be found here: http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/forum/mixing-discussions/mixing-101-11504/

If you want lots of vapour, go for a higher VG/AG mix, if you want higher throat hit, then you need more PG in your mix.

Most premixed liquids are around 80%PG to 20%VG.
When ordering a kit I would advise to order either PG or VG, and then make a separate order for a bottle of the other.
This way you can play around with your mixes, and decide what you like best.

Concentrates are normally PG base, so you need to take into account what % of your mix will be concentrate, what % will
be nic base, and then figure out how much of the other AG/PG you will need. Sometimes it can be both.

The difference between PI and TI... PI is 54mg nic, TI is 72mg nic. So if you are mixing 18mg for instance, from PI you would
get 3 times the amount, from TI would get 4 times the amount.

Hope this helps a little, I may have just confused you more  Roll Eyes lol

lol.. sorry. Read the 101 and go from there Wink

Its really not as complicated as it sounds. Have a look at a mixing calculator
and have a play with it, that will give you some idea of what you will need.

I felt the same way! lol
For me it was much easier to understand when I had everything in front of me.
Find a good calculator that you like and are comfortable with, and you'll do fine. It's tons of fun!

Good place to start. You could also do
Kit,
  50ml - PG (nicotine)
100ml - AG

Buy a bottle of PG seperate

Mixing 101 - read from the first page and ask any questions you may have either here or there.

If you do the math and don't want much more than 20% AG it may be best to tend toward a full PG kit and purchase a seperate bottle of AG?

Got to say that's what I'll doo next time I did the kit plus AG, luckily the oh had PG but running on a 70:30 or 80:20 mix what Troy says above is the way I'll be going in the future. I tho k it's already been mentioned but the concentrates are PG base forthe most part.

As a starting point I was using an iPhone/iPod ap which I found useful to say the least and worth the £1.50 or there abouts just to get my head round things.

The GS concentrates are great , and very concentrated so they'll go a long way,

Top tip one I wish I'd paid attention to is to use a syringe rather than drops, it makes life loads easier.

I've not been at this long either, and have tried to cover the things I've found by trial and error in what I've put, hope it helps

When I ordered my mixing kit (remember I am still very new, and this was at the advice of others here) I liked the premixes, and was informed that they are 80/20 (80%PG/20%VG) I wanted an 18% nic mix.

So at the advice of others I ordered the Titanium mixing kit. I ordered:
50ml Titanium Ice 72mg Unflavored - Single Bottle: in PG
4 Ounce PG
the 5 concentrates with the kit

I also ordered:
4 OZ AG

I use the calculator to determine how much to mix. I don't use drops to measure, I use a syringe.
Hope this helped...some...lol

If you were going to make a 18mg strength mix then I think the simplest way is to buy the Titanium Ice in AG and 100ml PG diluent. I say this because the nicotine base  is 72mg so will always be 25% of your final mix and it's pretty close to the premix which would be 20% AG. The rest of your mix would then be with PG diluent and flavour which is PG based.

That's what i've found easiest anyhow and hope it helps.
