Hi, I just want to ask a question regarding something I've noticed, I'm sorry if this as been asked before?
I use a mega tornado, and Tornado dual coil mainly. Infact most of the time..
I'm finding that some battery's appear to be working, pressing the buttons light up, but don't work when fixed to the atty, also some battery's work with certain attys, while the same battery will not work with another..I have a lot of batterys like this, its very strange..
is this common? is there a quick fix or trick?

Thanks for reading and if anybody has any tips etc to what's going on I'll be very thankful ..

cheers..

Try and clean the connectors of both atties and batteries with soft paper tissue. You'd be amased at the amount of black stuff that comes out. I do it every time before I connect my batteries to a charger in order to make sure that no e-liquid gets to the charger to safeguard it. Dirt, or whatever it is, may get in the way and stop the battery from connecting to the atomiser. See if that works.

Another problem is if you screw the atty down too tight you can actually push the center post down on the battery and thus it will not make contact with the atty.  You can try prying up the center post on the offending battery.

The easier thing to do is to use either a paper clip or a small jeweler's screw driver and stick it into the battery end of the atty and pry the center post of the atty up a bit.  And then see if it works.

This is usually the cause of the problem you describe

Thankyou for your advice, Mackimm & Horsemen, I've not got any paper-clips or mini screwdrivers atm, but I'll see if I can find something in the meantime, I must admit that i hardly clean my attys and batterys, well I did drop some attys to simmer in boiling water once, and put some attys in the freezer, I'm not sure where I got that tip from?
With no luck though...
Over the years (3+ years now)..  I've built up quite a collection of old battery's and attys... I just buy more when they start to slow down and fail, and keep the old ones " just incase" and for emergences. I fear I'm becoming a little atty, battery hoarder..
I should spend more time cleaning them and taking care of them really
I can't afford to be so carefree no more.

It just baffled me why some attys would work better with different batterys, and vise-verser..

I'll give your suggestions a try though, thank you both for your time....

Nice one..
