I've got some dropper bottles from boots....but I guess I should clean before using....I'm wondering about the safest way. Soapy water (but vaping soapy traces sounds horrible), just plain old hot water....maybe....maybe I should sterilise them too? Any advice would be appreciated!

Hiya Deck, I'm assuming these are new/unused bottles? if they're plastic you need to be sure what kind of plastic they are made of... HDPE and PET should be fine, but other plastics may leech into the juice or react with it. All they should need is a quick rinse through and then drying before use.

Recycle all my old eliquid bottles, so I keep the glass ones for made up mixes and transfer to plastic if I'm out and about. Haven't needed to buy any in a long long time. I label them with some pound shop labels. No expense spared!

I don't even bother using any washing up liquid when I rinse them, just hot water. There are no oils to rinse away, the contents are water soluble Smiley

As simple as it sounds Cold Water is the best thing you can use to clean the flavors out of your bottles,I worked in the Pharmaceutical industry for many years and we used flavors that were so concentrated they would burn you skin, but cleaning was fine after being washed in detergent then plenty of cold water and the smell of any flavor would vanish.

Hope this Helps.

Cheers catweazle that's some good advice. Typically I use a sterilizer on my bottles with an old baby bottle.sterilizer I have. Means I can do a whole batch in one go and you can usually find them knocking about cheap enough but they obviously take up space in your kitchen lol
