I've been using the dual core tank systems with the tornado tank batteries, and it has been working well for a month or so. I've recently started noticing that some of the replacment cartomizers I try to use aren't getting a good connection to the battery or something. I know both items work fine. I have about 5 different batteries, one of them (a brand new black one) will never work on one of the 510 replacement cartridges. I will put the device together, press the button, but no vapor. It's like they're not connecting. So the problem is that I can only use one and sometimes two batteries over and over again, depending on the cartridge. It only happens with these particular cartridges. I've used all the batteries with regular 510 atomizers, clearomizers, smokeymizers, tankomizers and tornado tanks with no problems. I find the DCT system works the best, and I would like to use it all the time, but this battery connection thing is becoming a major issue. Does anyone know what's up with this?

Hiya ctnmtech, welcome to the forum. You'll probably find that you need to raise the centre post on the battery very slightly. This is very easily done using a jewelers screwdriver or similar (I use a safety pin) just put it to the side of the centre post and lever it up on 'North, South, East and West' you probably won't think it has moved, but it should be enough to make the connection. Be carefull if you are using anything metal not to press the button while doilng this or you can short out the battery.

Hi ctnmtech Welcome to the forum. Sorry your first post was a over a problem What StevieD says or the other way is this if the battery connects with everything other than the carto Or try this, pull the centre post out a little, it only takes a little movement to get them to work, you can use a paperclip or similar

Hi Sophievapes, welcome to the forum Is it a large leak or just a little "wet" ?

it is a large leak,,If I have the VVV sitting upright,,it is a decent drip out, few cc's in a minute.

Is the grommet inside the DCT damaged? & have you got the tank down over the hole in the carto?.

Its a new Dual Cartridge so grommets should be good. Also I have tried the Cartridge with the smooth side down and the side where it is recessed around the hole. really bumming me out as I like the amount of vapor it gives.

You need to remove the DCT from the VVV and see if you can tell where it is leaking from, as Cy says, if the grommet seal that the cartomizer seals against is damaged it could be the cause of the leak.
You are not "topping" it up by adding drops to the cartomizer are you? if eliquid falls into the central hole, it will run straight through and out of the hole in the centre of the thread.
