Smoked my 3.5cc for 3 - 4 days Pretty much the same flavor e-juice mix.  18% nic (36%nic 50%/ PG 50% mix). The draw got very hard, bad performance, so I blew the atomizer through with hot water and let it dry. When I put it together again I realized I had lost that little o-ring which comes last before you put the mouth piece on. Any idea where I get those or can I take one from another atomizer, also they seem to be higher in size and I do not want to screw things up. Meanwhile i smoke my 6.0ml and that one is going good for two days now. Is 3 days an exceptable life span for a DCT atomizer or do I do something wrong?

Nah 3 days is a wee bit too short lol. You can use a bung from the other cartos although they are white and longer so you end up shoving them down further. Tbh though as long as your tip is not becoming loose with the white one in, use it. I have on a few. As for the little one that came with it. If you have any old 510 cartomizers lying about they might have a smaller size one in it you could salvage.

As for the carto it shouldn't be hard to draw and I have yet to come against this. You will maybe notice that with a high pg mix you have to keep it topped up with liquid to have a nice flavour. But shouldn't be a tough draw.

Just make sure the carto is flush with grove cut out of the metal ring at the bottom.

You could also try removing the top metal ring carefully and then pushing it back on incase of an airlock

If I think of anything else I'll post up

I just filled that carto on the DT again and i can hardly get a draw. I had a little more draw before I filled it up but after filling it was unacceptable. I must have screwed something up and I do not know what. Will leave that carto aside for now. May be i try to blow it through with my steamer, play with it. For now i vape my 6.0 and have no problems so far. Will see what happens and if it is may be related to the fluids. I have another set of DCT's which arrived yesterday because i want to set up one of my friends with the Titan and the DCT's. But now I wait.Cannot recommend anything which does not work very good. May be I set her up with the clearomizers or just start with the cartos.

What device are you using? I find with my Torpedo that if the tank is all the way down on the carto the draw is quite hard (not enough room to let air in the bottom) but if I just lift the tank a millimetre up the carto I get a much better draw.

Also regarding the plastic bung, I used it to begin with and one day decided not to and haven't used it since. I've found it to make no difference. It's supposed to stop the carto drying out so I guess if you only use the tank occasionally it would be good to use the bung but if you are using it all the time I wouldn't bother.

There is definately something wrong here, if you take off the bung from the carto can you look straight through. I just looked through my carto and i can see daylight at the other end. If you cant something's not where it should be an blocking it, If this is the case the trusty paper clip should do the trick, straighten it out and push it all the way through.

Is it just the one carto you have had the issue with or have you tried a few cartos with this tank? Again I use the 3.5ml tanks only and never had this issue but it is something iv heard one other person mention but given the simplicity of the dct it just shouldn't be.

and bluenova i use the bung to stop lquid running back into my mouth as i like to soak the carto lol but i guess it is to stop it drying out also, i hadn't thought of that. Your right though besides those two reasons i found it to make no difference to the vape.

If your using the plinth with it is it the 6ml plinth or 3.5ml plinth as the 6ml is bigger which could be blocking airflow ?

I agree with Kenneth. Just make sure all the holes are clear. Thats all it sounds like to me. Aside from direct dripping on an old 510 atty to try new flavors, the DCT is all I use any more. It took me a little while to get my first DCT primed and going. But after that I havent seen any issues with mine. Ive been on the same one for over 2 weeks now and for just a little over a week its been on the torpedo at about 4.0v. Although people do think the 6ml tank sitting on a torpedo does look funny. If you find out what the issue is just let us know so we all know what to look for if it happens to us!

I just vape the 6.0 DCT with the torpedo. Like a charm, I love those DCT's. Regarding this 3.5ml atomizer, I will play with it and follow your advice. When I took the rings out, it looked real dirty, the colour was an ugly brown and very little draw, almost none. After I filled it up again no draw at all. Another 3.5 ml just came in with the mail and I will use that one for a while, observing what's happening. Because I had it only a week, should I call customer service and tell them. I mean, there is hardly any expense, how much is a replacement atomizer?
No sweat....but I just want to make sure it works before I pass it on. So thanks for your advice and I will keep you posted on the results...that's what we are here for...no? Smiley Wink Cheesy Have a happy day, I'll have one

Well dct atomisers are only £2.50 each but come in packs of 2 so not really an expense no.

The liquid will change colour in these as the liquid getting heated and cooled in the wading will cause other liquid to change colour and eventually it ends up changing the colour in the tank a little.

I think of this as maturing the flavour than anything bad as it means the flavour you cape has really soaked in to the wading
