HOW DO KNOW WHEN BATT IS DYING

Hi,
My husband and I both received our Tornado's on Monday and absolutely love the.  How do you know when your battery is dead, or your atomizer is dead?  Is there a difference in the way they behave? Thanks for all your help.

Congratulations on your Tornado!!! They are awesome!   When your battery dies, you'll notice no vapor and the battery light will either not light up or may flash off and on a few times.  I've not had an atty die yet, but others have said that their performance will die down and you'll notice less flavor and vapor...some say they just POP.

Welcome to the forum Buckskingirl. With a weak batt the performance with suddenly drop, when this happens just throw the batt in the charger and pop on a new one. If performance is still bad and you know the batt you are using is good then its time to consider ether a bad connection between the batt and the atty or a bad atty.  To rule out the connection - clean the inner threads on the batt and wipe off the atty threads. If swapping the batt and cleaning the connection does not help, then you can swap out attys for a new one. Typically attys fade away: less vapor, less flavor, less satisfying. The attys becomes weak as the resistance increases from use. With a weak atty, try blowing it out or give it a little dry burn to clear away excess juice - this sometime will bring it back to life. 

Important note for newbies with tornadoes - dont over tighten the atty to the batt or you will  push in the + tab and the batt will fail to make connection. 

You should get around 2 weeks of good atty life under mod to heavy use. Some attys perform for much longer and some much shorter.  The only attys I have had "pop" at 3.7v are the LR attys which dont seem to fade away so much as suddenly chock and die. That being said I am still running one LR atty from the 1st day I got it ( about 2 months) and it is working great.

Hiya Buckskingirl, welcome to the forum and to the world of vaping. With the Tornado's, when the battery goes flat the light in the button will flash several times and then it will not work until recharged... If you miss the flashing then the button won't light when pushed anyway, so a swap and recharge is needed. Atties will normally fade out at 3.7V rather than die completely  and as the others have said, they will normally give 2 - 4 weeks use for moderate to heavy use before losing performance significantly and thats time to change them as well. How poor is too poor performance? That's for each user to decide.

the only real way to know when  an atomizer is past its best is to compare it with a new one.. to do this you alway need some new ones at hand..the fade off is gradual and it can be difficult to know when one needs replacing.. but as a general rule the longer you try and drag out the atomizer life the more problems you will have..  light user will get longer out of them than heavy users..

but without a doubt they do lose performance quite quickly given heavy daily use.. struggling along with a worn out one can be quite frustrating.. buy them in multipacks and always have spare ones on hand..
