How to dilute....

I have made my own juice(18mg) with PI after Knotons Mixer and I am very happy with it. My Platinum Ice is running out and I don't know when it will be available again over here in the US. I have some old juice which I like, but it's 36mg. Can I water down with PG and how much to bring it from 36mg to 18mg? Do I need AG to add? And how much? I hope you all have a great vape day.......   I do...............

To bring it down to 18mg you'd add 50/50 pre-mix with VG or PG (or a mix of both). Doing this means you'll also lose 50% of the flavor so beware. Adding a few drops (depending on how much total juice is being altered) of a concentrate can bring the flavor buck up.

Jurgen - I'm not nearly as experienced as rtsjr when it comes to mixing.

I can tell you though from recent experiments cutting with all PG is rather harsh on the throat and makes a good ghost vape. (almost no smoke & very, very "dry")

I haven't quite figured out my PG/VG ratio yet but I'm close.  Make small batches until you get it sorted out...your throat will thank you for it.

I usually dilute 36mg pre mix with PG only. It doesnt actually add that much throat hit tbh and because its flavourless, unlike VG which is sweet, It doesnt dilute the tatse too much but it will take a little away form the original flavour.

I sometimes feel a 50/50 mix is too weak although that should make 18mg. 50/50 just lowers the flavour beyond what I would like and the nic strength isnt, for me just enough.

So i usually fill up a bottle about 65% premix, just under 3/4. then just fill the rest with PG. Nothing else. Vapor still good and nic strength nice. Probably comes out about 20-22mg but its a nice vape and keeps most of the original taste.
