Is there a foolproof way to clean atomizers? (repost)

I have a bunch of Tornado-T Mega atomizers that don't work right some of which are close to brand new. I've tried all of the tricks to clean them that I found on this forum. Only thing that I haven't tried yet is to put them in boiling water. I've had some success with compressed duster cans. The dental cleanser trick didn't seem to work. I've also tried doing some dry burns. If someone could offer me some advice here I'd greatly appreciate it.  --Scott

On the topic, we don't have a fool proof way to clean an atomizer but we do have a couple proven to work ways. One I recommend is the dry burn. It works more than most but if you have a heavy hand it could cost a coil.

Can you be more specific by "they don't work right"?   Also, when you did the dry burn, did you take the spiked wick off of the atomiser and dry burn the wick?

Can you be more specific by "they don't work right"?   Also, when you did the dry burn, did you take the spiked wick off of the atomiser and dry burn the wick?

By "they don't work right" I mean that I don't hear a hissing sound when I push the button. How do I remove the wick from one of these atomizers?  --Scott

look down the atty at the spike get a small flat head screwdriver and leaver it against the spike. You will have to push quite hard but when you get a little movement switch to the other side of the spike and push against it again it will pop off then turn your atty upside down and it will fall out

If you hear nothing when pressing the button it may not be getting power to the atomizer. In this case I doubt you will even be able to dry burn it. Are all the threads and connections clean?
