What kind of setup do you have. It can vary by alot. The DCT I use takes the 510 low resistance cartomisers. Been using mine since the first of Feb. I have had to replace the carto twice but I am averaging a week to two weeks per carto. Never replacd the DCT

I guess I should askwhat is happening after 3 days that makes you think it no longer works? Is it still vaping? Is it a hard draw? Most of the batteries are about the same. Which DCT are you using? Can you replace the Cartomisers?
Here is what I use
http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/featured-products/6ml-dual-coil-tank-multipack-x-3-product.html
http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/cartomizer-systems/dual-coil-tank/dual-coil-tank-replacement-cartomizer-2-product.html
with the same batter as you
The second is the cartomiser alone which can be replaced as needed. The dual coils seem to burn up sometimes if the fluid is not enough.
Sorry but it is hard to help unless we understand what kind of configuration your using.

I am not sure their hole is big enough plus I prime mine heavier than they say. The key is to get enough fluid into the material. I thnk we lose them cause they dry out. I took one and open the hole to a 1/16. But I haven't started using it yet to tell if it is any better

+1 to heavily priming & it could be necessary to top up the carto from time to time.

+1 to topping up the carto, I think this definitely contributes to life span. I have been topping the current ones up from the tank itself, every half tank or so through my 6ml DCT I just pop off the drip tip and pour liquid from the tank into the carto and it simply refuses to give up, currently I've vaped around 50ml through one of the cartos with no maintenance/cleaning...in my book that's an awesome achievement for a carto.

Am getting mixed results with the cartos on these - my first device one of the coils packed up after a day. The second one worked like a charm for 30mls. The third one was about 10mls before the draw got harder and the flavour disappeared completely and I'm now on my fourth.

After every 10-15 vapes, I take a couple of hard cold draws and watch teh air bubbles filter through. I'm using AG/VG, not PG and generally if I take the white bung off the top of the cart, the fluval is still wet.

Very mixed longevity across the few cartos I've used.

i get about 6-9 days out of a carto on my tank using a high voltage
i reckon the heat thins the liquid to get better wicking at higher voltage
i would expect about 5 days as a minimum from a carto

I haven’t really kept a detailed record but I estimate that I get a good 30ml + through a carto with a DCT

I should have mentioned, I use PG liquid which probably helps. I would say I average 30mls on cartos lordy, certainly not had any pack up after any less than that. Not sure if it makes a difference but I use 510 XL cartos in my DCT.

I prime the cart a lot too and give it as long as possible to soak in. I also top the cart up to prevent it drying out.

My first carto lasted almost 7 days of up to 3.5ml per day, the second started with a burnt taste every few draws but seems to have stopped now. I'm really hoping that these are going to be good. I tend to use VG at 85/15.

I love the coffee flavors as well but I get the same problem as you they seem to burn out carto's faster than any other flavor.  I wonder it has something to do with the way it tends to caramalize or burn if drag it too hot?
