Need some HELP and LOTS of it!!!!

HI folks....Just joined, and for the main reason of getting some advice from all of you users out there!

I purchased not long ago one of the popular brands of Ecig, ( KR808) brand and am pleasantly please with it.  It performs well, and does what it is supposed to do. NOW, I would like to move on though to the popular 510 which I think provides more opportunities to upgrade and try out all the new things coming out such as the DCT's, CE Series, and Cartos that are offered through TW.  Im currently running through a little over 2ml per day, so I was looking at the CE2 Ultimates as a choice of purchase but not 100% sure about. I also need something that my wife can refill and use and is not a huge hassle for her or she probably will loose interest quickly and just stop messing with it.
I pieced up a "Homemade" kit on the site and came up with the following:

2ea. Batteries (Tornado-T E Nic Mega 1000mAh Manuals)
2ea. Cones
2ea. USB Chargers
Drip tips
2ea. 5pack of CE2 Ultimate Clearomizers

SO~ the question is will this setup work to get me off and running? Its cheap enough that if its a complete bust Im not out tons of cash and if I like it I can upgrade and add more batteries and what not to the arsenal. I think with this set up as well, its universal enough that I can run just about anything offered on the site as far as cartomizers, tanks, and such. I would really like your opinions on what you think about this set up? Also, some personal recommendations on the Clearomizers, if you have some other preference please tell me why you like it better or worse. What put me off on Cartridges is burnt taste (which I have heard rumors about the CE4 having, and leaking issue on the CE3's), and complete inconsistancy, so if this is a issue with these please be upfront and honest. I just want a good reliable tank system that delivers....thats not asking too much is it?

Hey viper65 Welcome to the forum..... your off to a good start

The CE2's will treat you fine..... if the taste gets burnt you will have to pull up on the silicone cap inside to allow more juice flow...... push it down if it floods.

You may have to modify the cones a little bit to get the Ultimate clearomisers to fit with a file..... there a bit thick shelled compared to a 510 atty

Other then that its a good setup you picked.

The kit you selected will really get you up and running, assuming you are ordering eliquid as well  

The only thing I would not get if you are thinking of the CE2.CE3 route are the cones .. if it is these you are referring to:
http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/tornado-accessories/tornado-batteryatomizer-cover-cone-2-product.html. as these will not fit over the CE2's and CE3's now that the thickness of the walls has increased. the cover cones were designed to fit over the 510 atomizers, which they still do of course, but  they may not fit over non Tornado/eGo stuff CE2's and CE3's are not made by Joytech ( the makers of Tornado/eGo sytems), but they are a 510 thread and will fit to the battery no problem

Ah...even better If I dont require the cones! Is it going to look Odd?

Also, Ive heard that flavor is better with the tanks, would that be a true statement/assumption? Im probably going to wait till the next sale since no promo codes are out right now, I guess Valentines Day is the next one I have heard rumor of...

The cones help the cartomisers from breaking if you put them in your pocket and so on. There a bit long so it does give you leverage to pop the body off of the battery connector.


It's not hard to sand them down on a grinder, file them, run them across sandpaper ... and so on. But having them does help the experience some and makes the whole setup a bit more durable.

You need a syringe to fill the ce2. The wife might not like all that fiddling. You'd have to fill many in advance which is not really a problem. Other than that the taste is great and vapor is nice and warm.
