TT - my nickname AND my vaping device!

With 18mg even if its too high, you will still be able to use it until a lesser strength is ordered anything higher and you will have a banging sore head.

I'll second that... Tried my buddy's 36 mg Red Label Blended Tobacco... Geez! Thought I was gonna cough out my right lung Tongue

Well I guess I am the odd one... I smoked a pack a day (or more) of  "Ultra lights".

I started with 6 mg. It works just fine for me.

I would suggest getting 5ml bottles of 6, 11, 18mg and see what you prefer... 5ml bottles are not too expensive.

Also, do not buy a large bottle of anything until you have tried it. I've given away about 3 bottles of liquid so far because I didn't like them.

Not to make the choice even tougher but imo different flavors do seem to have more of a hit even if they are the same Nic mg. For example my TW strawberry 18 feels less strong than my TW chocolate, and Titan 11mg feels stronger than the other two. Since the fluid that comes in the pre-filled carts with the eGo-C is titan fluid in the high, med and low variety, I'd suggest starting with the 18mg high's that come with it. That seems to be a good benchmark to whether you should go lower or higher. Since you like to Partay a lot, if you find the 18 is too strong take the 8 with you so you can chain vape like crazy for as long as you have fluid. Chain vaping with what is your normal maximum brand isn't as fun when you OverNic!

Speaking of which in my haste to buy i also grabbed a 36 Mg bottle of TW American Red Tobacco thinking that because i chain smoked the country maximum mg that i'd be fine. After vaping with 18 Mg i find that if i even so much as look at the bottle of 36 i'll pass out or worse, get used to it and demand something stronger.. lesson learned from this: the 5 and 10ml bottles are a godsend!

Yes. Flavors can have just as much or even more of an impact on throat hit.

It's true flavor can affect hit very much.
Pg affects hit little to medium regardless.
Flavor depending on the particular flavor can affect hit a little to a lot.
Nic depending on strength can affect hit a little to a lot.

Tornado eGo-C is going very well

The lesson is clearly trial and error, both in terms of nic strengths and flavours...thanks folks.

My eGo-C arrived today, so I'm just about to head home and give it a go...I couldn't really give it a go here at work! Wink

I'll try the e-liquid provided in the starter kit first, and look to order some different ones soon so I can work out my favourites.

Wish me luck. Smiley

My mix tastes like pg or vg. Chemical taste to say the least.

Using Titanium Ice 72 mg and red label Blended Tobacco.
Have tried heating it up a bit. Should I let it sit over night?

Is your titanium ice VG based?

I learned all about throat hit trying to "cut" some premix with straight PG.   Shocked

Someone here was kind enough to let me know VG / AG will smooth it out and add sweetness (and more "smoke").

Tornado eGo-C is going very well

« Reply #42 on: March 19, 2012, 10:55:41 PM »

So...first evening of vaping and already I've realised that 18mg is too high. Wink I went all light headed after my first few tokes on my Tornado eGo-C with the tobacco e-liquid that came with the kit. I tried 18mg again after dinner, but after a couple of puffs I changed to 11mg, which I think is where I'm going to be for now.

However, and I'm not sure if it's the tobacco flavour or not, but I think I'm getting a bit of burning. Have I missed something or is it just the tobacco flavour? I probably need to try a different flavour...what do you reckon?

just take a couple of sharp draws on the mouthpiece without hitting the power button to get some more fluid into the atty and you should stop any burning taste.

Seems a little better. Thanks for that. I think it might just be a flavour thing. I've smoked a leading brand for a long time, so I'm quite sensitive to a different flavour. I'll keep going for a few days, using up the tobacco flavour I got with my kit...meanwhile, I think I'll order some different flavoured samples to try.

Any recommendations...?

After trying a few more times today, I don't think it is burning, I just don't like the flavour. The liquid smells as it tastes, if you know what I mean. So I just ordered some more flavours, as well as a few other bits and bobs, like some more attys...as I gather it's best to use different attys for different flavours.

What are people's favourite flavours?

some people use the same ones just blown through and washed but for me it never really returned to its full flavour doing that so i just use a new atty per flavour and that way i get the best possible taste per each.

I and a few others have ways of storing attys

i have the ego C so the attys are tiny enough that I bought a pillbox, infringing on Jason's copyright there lol.
you know the ones with loads of small compartments for storing your pills for the week etc.

Then i label each lid for each compartment with the flavours used and pop the attys once used in there, if i ever go to use a flavour i just pull out the matching atty.

New flavours have arrived, so I immediately switched out the tobacco (11mg) and put in coffee (11mg)...with a new atty, of course. Wink The taste is sooooo much better, although I need a bit more time to figure out if the throat hit is the same or not.

My exploration into flavours has just begun! Wink

glad your venturing out and trying new flavours, each one is a new adventure and more often than not surprising just how good and acurate they are in taste

I've smoked a leading brand for a long time, so I'm quite sensitive to a different flavour.

I feel you there mate, i religiously stuck to one brand for long periods of time.. felt terrible with headaches and stuff otherwise. Since i've made the switch though ive found flavor exploration is a wonderful thing. Yet again proves that cigarette brands have only one thing in common: Nicotine..  the rest and the 4k chemicals attatched to it give it the flavor among other things hence being affected when i changed brands..

I couldn't change to multiple different eliquids if it operated the same way you know what i mean? Looking forward to trying as many as possible!!

apologies if this post doesn't make sense.. slighty off my face right now..
