The nasty taste you're referring to is probably the primer fluid. I blow out my new attys from the top down through the thread end and catch the fluid with a paper towel. Then prime it with a drop or two of liquid and replace the cart and I don't have that nasty flavor any more.

I don't know of any other way to test new attys within 48 hours other than to drip on em and see if they work. Maybe someone else will give you some better advice. Good luck. Smiley

You can test the resistance on attys; Red to center and black to threads and it should read 2.2 - 2.8 ohms

Batts should charge and then show 3.7v on a tornado or up to 4.2v on a SD.

Basically they work or they dont. Are you talking about multi pack equipment? Normal TW products have a 28 day warranty on them - the Multi Pack attys and batts do not, but they cost less and are guaranteed to be the exact same quality. I but all my attys in MPs and have never had an issue  Wink

I just kinda' figure... if there ain't no more vapor... there ain't no more atty.  I Keep it Simple...  LIFE is BEAUTIFUL

P.s.  Yes yes.. assuming the Batt is charged and theres at least a dribble in the Cart. . of course !  LOL
