Hopefully someone can answer this for me, very new to the vaping world.

If I am normally satisfied with one analog, how many hits should I be taking (Titan 510, 10ml) to equal one analog?

what analogs do you smoke?  Ultra lights? Lights? Regulars? "Reds"?

In my own experience, unless I mix my nic-juice pretty light, it only takes a few drags of my Titan 510 to feel like I've had a full cigarette.  I suspect without all the additives, we're getting a bit more pure nicotine into the lungs, and it absorbs instantly.

my best advice is assuming medium strength 12-14mg nicotine, go slow at first.  Its easy to get a little too much nicotine in the system when all that harsh smoke isn't making you feel like you've smoked a whole analog.

I don't vape much though so 3-4 draws at 14mg puts me in a total nicotine bliss Smiley

It's impossible to equate the two in any accurate way.

If you smoke an 8mg cigarette (as stated on packet) that doesn't mean to say that you actually receive a dose of 8mg, just that the cigarette contains that (and I doubt that the measurement of nicotine in the cigarette will be precisely 8.00mg either). You will smoke a proportion of that 8mg, and you will absorb a proportion of what you smoke... quite a high proportion, but not 100%.

So, you will not be getting 8mg.

E-liquid strength per ml is very accurate indeed*... but you can only measure the amount you vape in mls and not in 'drags'....

That's a good point...that analog is going to lose some nicotine in the filter, as well as while it sits idle between drags.

I think most of us are told a regular smoker of regular cigarettes could start vaping on 18mg, though whatever, you soon find a balance.
I love vaping, but were getting bad-heads on 18mg, so went to 11mg pretty quickly.
I now mix at own and vary between 2 & 4 mg with lots of flavours.
It means I can vape loads without having effects of too much nicotine.  Usually 3 to 4 mls, sometimes 5mls a day.

In reality, your health will improve, and even though this world is not a smoking cessation world, you'll soon prefer vaping, if you stick with it... Smiley

If you need a nic hit, have a vape. If your vaping a lot the try a higher nic level, if your getting headaches or dizzyness the lower your nic level.

I had these types of questions when I first started vaping, you can see my sticked post above.  What I learned is that you don't compare...  Vape when you feel like it, and if you get a headache from too much vaping, either use it less, or if you want to vape the same amount use a lower nic level.
