I'm kinda hoping tw move away from this kinda thing just to promote a more mature
Sophisticated company image that will show a company that's head and shoulders above the rest in quality etc

That's exactly how I feel about it. Im not really religious, its not that kind of thing that bothers me. I dont care for the logo on my kit because its garish and to most people who see it, he does look like he's smoking a reefer but Im happy with my kit now as the logo is hardly visible on the silver ego batteries and all I ever vape on is the DCT, the logos rub off these within an hour or so im almost unbranded Smiley

If it were my business I would be promoting a more sophisticated image but it would seem that's not going to happen at TW, they seem pretty dedicated to following this whole cartoon thing through, what with the videos and all which I just don't get, I find it childish personally, which is not an image I would want to associate with if it were my business.

Its not going to stop me buying products from TW but I do think about buying from elsewhere if I can get the same thing without having the TW logo on it.

As I've already stated, the mature, sophisticated look is what you get if you visit TECC (http://www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk/ - surely I'm allowed to link to this company?).
One thing that the TW branding brings is the 'cool' factor.  It is a community, not just a webshop.  TECC looks just like any other e-cig store.  TW is something original and hip (someone shoot me for using that word).
I am proud to have the TW logo on my TT and I think it does look cool.  However, it is very British.  This is not a brand for America though, for reasons I'm not going to go into here.  Don't worry Americans, I think you are great.  I was just taken aback when I found out what a touchy subject faith was when I was over there.

Agreed TECC is an option... In fact I purchased my first t-tank kit from TECC purely because of branding but some products sold on TECC are still TW branded, for example the torpedo (not so much of a problem for me as I only use that in the privacy of my own home). Also TW has better deals on the go than on the TECC site so sometimes its a tradeoff.

Hi Casion.  Sadly, that's true.  And you are, for the most part, correct.  But I was (I'm a bit of a Taff now) one yank who was always proud to have the logo on my kit, and like you, I think it's cool.  But I will say that living on the edge of the "bible belt" like I did, I expected to hear a lot of negative comments about the logo (which I never attempted to hide).  Surprisingly, I never received one comment about it.  Huh   Just goes to show......... Undecided  but show what, I've no idea.  Cheesy

Im not implying I want TW to change to the same bog standard site set up as Tecc or any generic looking e cig site BUUUT

I think too many things point to a company that Im not sure many would use unless referred to by a user. As a company I dont think you can solely rely on referrals.
What makes me say this is;

Jasons handle is Pillbox38 Now i know the reasons being this and his ebay name etc but its printed on all the boxes etc and pillbox gives it the look of something dodgy. If i set up a company selling things advertised as pillbox it hardly looks very legit.

Next The TW devil logo with all the art work on the front page is a bit cartoonish. Why not make it more adult,

Check out Kit Rae art work, That I could get on with on the front page if you wanted to go down that road.

I think all the fun could be retained in the website but in a way that looks like a bit of ££$$ has been spent on it, because i know a lot has been put into the website and its under way of getting a facelift I believe.

I love the look of the vapour lounge in the us that just opened, sorry cant remember where, but the big red TotallyWicked sign and the really nice black and red inside of the lounge.

I LOVE IT. LOVE IT. LOVE IT.  and with the little devil dog, that was funny and quirky not kidish

Its just when referring people to TW they always go for the Ego C in brushed steel because its a discreet professional looking bit of kit.

But I feel the same about the website as mentioned before, rather than being saturday night live entertaining its more late night channel 4 (UK), all a bit cheesy and low budget which makes it hard for people to take on board the serious benifits and questions asked about vaping which could really help people.

I wont stop shopping at TW but I know sooo many people that wouldn't consider TW because it looks like a fad website when in fact it has so much more info about every aspect of vaping and nicer layout than tecc before you even get to the discounts and yoyo.

I despise it.  I think it looks really naff. It has actually put me off buying.  It looks really childish or 'we're gettin down with the kids'  - horrible horrible horrible YUK!  I'm nearly fifty and a woman, and though I'm a bit bohemian I really would feel a complete plonker vaping with that little jerk on my device. At first I thought the logo head thing had massive stupid eyes like he was coked up or something, then realised he's supposed to be wearing mirror shades.  I know some ladies like it (judging by some replies to a thread I started) but in general, I think it's really blokey, (sorry to the guys who don't like it).   Personally I like elegant and simple design, and I really hate logos and branding.

Yes, I tend to agree, especially about the site and vibe being "blokey." I'd add "young" before "blokey," too. The comic book theme with the chippy wearing  skimpy outfits and fishnet is off-putting for women. I think it probably appeals to young men but other customers either have to turn a blind eye or shop elsewhere.

The theme doesn't do the products justice, IMO. I love everything I've ordered from TW and recommend the company often. But when i hand out the TW business cards to people who are interested in ordering a kit, it's always met with raised eyebrow and I need to reassure that it's a great company. And I will admit to not ordering some items because I don't want to be toting things that have a very noticeable devil's head on them. It might offend some folks and it just looks rather tacky. Sorry!

Oh, forgot to add that I don't think the poll options reflect the majority of opinions. No, I don't like the logo but not because I think it's "satanic." If you want to have that option, fine, but  either add a plain "no" or a "no, because I think a more professional image is needed." I didn't vote in the poll because none of the choices come close to reflecting my real opinion.

I think the devil needs to look more devilish ... right now its a bit cartoonish... and it doesn't need to be on the kit.

You know why Dan............. it's not a "stupid" rule, this is not an advertising agency for other companies products, you would not expect to go into a Tesco's store and see advertisements to go shopping at Asda.

Always liked the devil. As Elisia said, the other company logo's aren't as good.

I agree, it's a bit edgy without being too far over the top .. It also makes for a conversation starter.

I love it and the font for the brand name. When I see that logo I know whatever it is that's it's on is going to be of good quality. Is that not what a logo and brand name at for?
