I have been vaping since there was only TEEC with mega tornadoes atty and lint cartridge. I used 100% herc vg and the vapour and flavour was great. Thes battieries are still going and have now got a booster but I only set that on 3.7v because of all the LR carts. I have since used tanks, clearos, carts you name it I tried it!! I have changed my fluid from vg to 80/20 pg/vg and sometimes just pg. to much vg makes them all to burnt taste and clearos should be banded. I am using smokies, dual coil carts ( not mega )and bottom coil carts. Vaping starts great but after a few vapes about 8 onwards the vapour falls away and I loose the hit a lot. I have tried to dilute everything until its to thin to use. I am a very heavy vapour and had no probs in the early days apart that the attys didn't last long .am I missing something, never have mixed my own but it is though the fluid can't wick fast enough?
Any comments would be great! Mark

With the tank attys for the tornado, I have found if it's not wicking good enough, pushing the wick down a tad helps that, and problem solved. With the clearos, the 10 I have used so far needed the mod that Astrecks posted about, and again, problem solved. Takes a little tinkering so far with the clearos, but well worth it, and once it's done I find them to wick better, with certain fluids. In the tank atty, I've never once had a fluid that couldn't keep up with the wicking, the clearos, I've found certain ones don't work well unless you vape very sparingly... But my all day vape flavors work great in the clearos, and I've never had a problem.

No prob. Here's the link: http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/forum/tips-tricks/pictorial-guide-to-help-with-the-wicking-of-clearomisers-(lots-of-photo's-!!!!)/ With the tank attys, I will take a paperclip, and just push the wick down slightly, and retry. If you push it too far the wick will fall out the bottom, and your fluid will leak lol but like the other one, once you do it it's a piece of cake. Warning with the clearos, they are fagile when you take them apart, don't twist, or pull them or the wiring will come un-soldered. If you're even somewhat handy, it's very simple once you figure it out.

The tank set up I have is a metal mesh wick in the spike. If you google it I m sure you can find it. It works great alot better than fiber wick. I might change my other tanks to this set up.

The tanks can be tricky...I hadn't had any problems for a couple of months but I decided I better replace the tank cap since it was looking bad the other day...now I am flooding it lol. I have been mixing my own juice for a bit and I have found that if I use too much vg then I get the burnt taste. I know there are many factors in the wicking of tank, but for my vaping style the viscosity of the fluid is important.
