Hi all.  It is still my first week of vaping and am in love so far.  Does anyone have any tips for charging you batteries or extending their usage? Maybe I just vape a lot, but my batteries seem to run down after an hour or two.  I have 4 batteries and they all do the same so I am assuming it is me and not them.  I have the 901 and charge with the usb chargers.

You should get more than an hour out of a 901 battery.   Do you have a  mains charger or alternate USB charger?  Sounds to me like the batts are not getting fully charged.

I just use the alt. usb chargers.  But I did get some advice to make sure to wipe the connections free of liquid, that was something I was definitely over looking.  I will try that and see how it goes.

I've been using DSE901 for about 7 weeks now, right from the beginning I've been charging them exactly 3 hrs (that's what my manual says) and alternate between 3 batteries and each lasts me at least 6-7 hrs and I do vape quite a bit, when the blue lite flashes 25 times I get no smoke, I know it's time to charge... Vaping with fully charged batteries is another pleasure, it's more productive as it produces maximum vapor possible.
I do worry about forgetting them on the charger longer than 3 hrs, I fear they will all drain back!!!   Can anyone tell me I'm wrong on that so I stop worrying about it cos I'm the same with charging my mobile phones (always charge them for exactly as long as necessary)..

I wouldn't worry - I always leave one on overnight for 7-8 hours+, and they seem to hold as much charge as when they were new. I don't get 6-7 hours out of them, but then I chainvape all day. I quite often swap batteries before the one I'm using is flat, if another has finished charging, and this seems to do them no harm either.

Brand new 901s used to last me 2hrs vaping.

That dropped to 1.5hrs within a week.

They are really not designed for constant heavy vaping and all the charging and discharging takes its toll.

I had a minimum of 2 -3  batteries on charge at all times.

Re the Battery charger.
When the green light comes on the battery stops charging, leaving it on the charger wont do it any harm providing they are both working correctly.

The battery will not start to drain if left on the charger, If the voltage drops the charger will simply start to charge it again.

That said you should not leave any battery unattended while on charge.

when i was using a 901 i was lucky to get more than an hour and a half from a fully charged battery, and as the battery aged, the useful time got shorter and shorter. i had batteries charging constantly on just about every powerpoint till i got an SD. what a difference a big battery device makes Grin
