What's the best way to remove old flavor from a used atty?

Hi, I have been having some old Mint flavor left in a couple of my 501 attys after boiling, cleaning and draining them. My question would be what is the best way to remove old juice taste from or neutralize these attys. Thanks!

You could try a coke bath, or hydrogen peroxide, but mint is a very pungent flavour, and complete removal will be very difficult. I'd advise keeping that atty for minty flavours, and break out a new one if the flavour you want next is incompatible with mint. You can waste a lot of time, and possibly add wear to your atty by trying to remove every last menthol molecule with aggressive chemicals.
Alternatively, just vape a fruity flavour through it until the mint diminishes of its own accord (most fruit flavours are quite nice with a hint of mint.)

Saul this guy UBROCKED on youtube did a vid a while back regarding what he called "utility vapes"...its kind of a cool idea...when you find a juice thats particularly bland you can use that to go from one flavor to the next...it'll help you cycle out the old and start fresh with a new...and it puts to good use a juice you normally would use.  Very cool advice.

the first thing to do is remove as much of the unwanted stuff as possible.. blow as much as you can out from the brass threaded end.. then refill and repeat... the downside is its a bit wasteful with liquid.. they hold around six drops.. in simple terms you are just flushing the old out with the new..

Yeah! coke bath did the trick, no more noticeable mint residue.  I had also tried vaping the flavor away but I did not have much success there. Thanks!

I put 3-4 drops of PG directly into my atomizer, put on an empty(no filler) cartridge and puff away until the flavori is gone and only vapor from the PG remains then I put in a regular cartridge with the new flavor.  I use this method to clear my atomizer once a week.  Of course other methods work too.

I soaked my atty in PGA (everclear) for 30 minutes and left to dry overnight to get rid of some way too strong diy mentolyptus.

I find removing the wick from under the bridge does the trick for me,  then I just vap a diff juice and the old flav goes away

Used to be a bit of a problem, but I would just use unflavoured juice fopr a while until the flavour went. What I do now is use cartomisers for the flavours that I find hang around a bit, so there is no crossover at all.
