Good Morning, There was a post earlier on about adding Real Flavors to PG/VG bases to bring to correct some flaws the OP found with the additive flavors that were being used in his premixes. I've had experience working with homemade extracts in culinary classes and the process can range from fairly simple to insanely complicated depending on the originating matter you want to extract flavinoids from. The most simple processes involve citrus fruits or vanillin. These can be extracted over a period of time by steeping them in a high concentrate of alcohol spirits. There are others that involve evaporating the moisture from the base material and then once desiccated that material can be placed in a solvent material to extract the flavinoids. These extracts could all be mixed with any of TW's bases both nicotine free and nicotine concentrate to play with. Some of them I probably wouldn't recommend but hey it's called experimentation. Sound off and let me know what you think .. I have a burgeoning plan to try and record the process and Youtube it. Vape what you make... Just for Gits and Shiggles (tm) I present the following list: Non-Desiccated Extracts:- Blood Orange
- Key Lime
- Keffir Lime Leaves
- Balti Curry
- Bhut Jolakia (Ghost Chili)
- Chili Powder / Taco Seasoning **
- Miraculin (Miracle Fruit) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miraculin (powdered form / pg/vg dissolution) Not be inhaled but vaped and held in the mouth to activate the miraculin bonding to the taste buds.
Desiccated Extracts:- Beef Broth **
- Pico de Gallo **
- Powdered Cheese **
- Fruit Salad
- Watermelon
- A Real Cherry Extract
** Part of my Taco Vapor plan .. (This could be disastrous but I am going to do it anyway)

Sounds awesome! Interesting flavors. I know people have been screaming for a garlic. It'd be cool to work that in. Kinda reminds me of Willy Wonka though. Just wating for the 3 course vape. Blueberry pie for dessert!

I take it you have to really know what you are doing to attempt this, afraid it’s not for me. But hey if you get the Willy Wonka 3 course vape perfected you never know.

I could add roasted/caramelized garlic to the list .. that would be nice..
As for the three course vape ..
It might not be that difficult if you can mod up a micro controller and a triple coil carto...
Stage one timed after first inhalation: activate first 2.6 ohm coil .. vape out the tomato soup. 15 - 20 mins of tomato soup on the microcontroller
Stage two timed after first stage with 30mins of beef stew (beef extract, carrot extract, roasted garlic extract, celery seed tincture)
Stage three timed after second stage with blueberry pie vapor ..
Each of the coils in the triple coil carto would fire a different stage from cavity separated fluvial chambers...

Don’t forget to get a patent out on your micro controlled triple coil carto with separated fluvial chambers. If those Chinese get wind of your idea you’ve had it.

Apparently the USPTO hates independent inventors ..625.00 filing fee.. wow. I would patent the idea though..
Maybe TW would want to patent it and keep me in juice .. lol

Lol, don't forget that your extracts will also need to be oil and sugar free.....and fully volatile (Or very nearly so) at relatively low temperatures.

StevieD: There's the kick in the pants ... How do you enjoy an oil free taco .. The food additive thing is new for me so It will be a learning curve as I go along .. I know from a culinary standpoint that those fats and sugars are the building blocks for a successful flavor profile .. The problem I will have is looking at it from a chemists point of view. The majority of the flavors you listed are available here and elsewhere. Some vendors will state which ones contain Diacetyl and other chemicals which are unsuitable for vaping along with which ones are made from synthetics (some natural flavors cannot be reproduced without causing harm to humans). Others will reply through email if you state what intended purpose is (Inhaling in Vaporised form)
But there is a catch with that as some Ecig vendors will sell flavorings manufacturers clearly state are not suitable for inhalation.
Going about creating flavors from scratch blindly has the risk of creating some serious health issues some of which can cause irreversible damage. Without knowing what chemical compounds you are creating or having the ability to properly test the results for toxins is a very dangerous endeavor.

Darth, I get your drift and and know that your advice is very well heeded. I don't do anything without a few assurances first. These are just some fantasy vapes. That if I can figure out the process and do it safely I will. There are always risks but the key is knowing which ones are worth it. Where's a gas mass/spec when you need one.. Canniscam

Ah how nice it would be to reduce well-loved eats into well-loved vapes.
Take the humble big mac. Even air can't break that sucker down into a state where it can be devoured by mould spores!
Better still would be taking alcoholic flavours and being able to preserve the kick from the alcohol. I've tried cognac, orange liqueur, absinthe and tequilla and none can recreate the assault on the senses that the real thing does *sigh*
I'd love nothing more than to be able to vape a chilli con carne, or a korma, or a madrass...
Note to TW's taste panel - popular curries = popular vape flavours!

Lol, now if you could alternate a curry vape with one that tasted like Tsingtao or Tiger, that would be heaven!

Curry didn't seem to be to popular with the Red Label Dunehill flavor ... it did leave a bit of an aroma in the air though so could understand.

Canniscam - you are really out there... I do not mean that in an insulting way...that is a compliment.
In another lifetime I cooked... some of my "insane" ideas were a hit.
All I can say is try, be safe, and have a blast. Please do share your EUREKA! moments and your "failures", you may inspire others in ways you will never know.
If you figure out a Bearnaise you can vape, let me know!
Greetings from a fellow North Carolinian!

I've been absent from the forums .. no excuses .. just laziness.
However .. I was talking with a friend about the three chambered atomizer .. (he's an arduino nut) and we might have a way to build one into micro controlled mod .. which would be three cartomizers connected to a common draw tip in which the arduino activates one or the other via a couple relay .. sloppy and spread out at the moment. .
We agree that it would be easier to convert a DCT into three chambers to condense the size.. but we haven't talked about it for weeks since he got a new job and I've been traveling for work.
