Yep, I'm a newbie.  As a long time smoker of Djarum Special, Thought I'd never get the mix right, yet 80% Titan/20% Dji Sam Soe does the trick.  Can't say that what I've got tastes like my Djarums because it doesn't.  It tastes better!  So much so that  it makes the vaping taste so much better and I'm just obstinate Wink.  But... I'd like to tweek the flavor and vapor.

Starting with Titan 80%/Dji Sam Soe 20%, I tried adjusting Titan to 60%, kept Dji Sam Soe at 20%, and added VG 20%.  Absolutely love the better vapor, hate the diluted taste of the Titan.  70/20/10 didn't do it either.  I really like the nuttiness and smoothness of the Titan Fluid as the taste seems to mix well with the cloves. So, no VG and back to 80/20 mix.  Ugh!  Sad  I miss that vapor, alot.  Hoping some of the professional mixers here might have some ideas since my "mad scientist experiments", as my husband calls them, aren't quite working like I'd hoped.  Here's what I'm looking for:

1.  More vapor, less throat hit (preferrably)
2.  The Titan nut & ?caramel? taste
3.  The clove taste
4.  Would like to mildly add some sweetness.  Maybe a vanilla?  Really not sure that I'd like a more fruity-type flavor.

What do ya'll think?  I know that the Titan fluid doesn't come in a concentrate but are there some other concentrates that I could mix to get close to it?  Would greatly appreciate any input.

Thank you & Happy Vaping New Year!   Cool

Hi Boddie, and welcome to the forum.  Not sure I can help you.  I don't vape tobacco flavors, but some here do, and I'm sure they'll be along to give you a hand.  I can tell you that VG will add vapor and a slightly sweet flavor to your mix, and reduce throat hit.  So it sounds to me like you just need to add some VG to suit, then find a flavor concentrate you like, and that compliments your mix, and add a few drops of that to bring back some of the flavor you're losing when you add the VG.  Unfortunately, I've no idea what flavor to recommend for that, Sad but I'm sure someone will.  Good luck!  And happy mixing.

I would say DV DY4 that has a caramelish taste.
Try that to add in your mix with some VG as well to increase vapour.
Maybe someon can name a concentrate that are simular to DV DY4 since TW is going to stop selling it?

Instead of caramel, I meant coffee.  Knoton:  From what I've heard, the larger the number of the DY's the sweeter it is.  Am I wrong?  Thanks!

Instead of caramel, I meant coffe. Do I interpret this as you dont want a caramel taste? if so when DY4 is not for you.
I have only tried the Dy4 so I cant speak from my own experience. But so am I told that the higher number the sweeter it is.

Sorry about that Knoton.  When I looked back at the Titan fluid (tobacco) description I realized that I had misspoken. The description says: "A very smooth earthly, nutty blend almost with slight Coffee notes".  I apologize for the confusion.  Personally, I thought it did have a mild caramel taste, but now that I'm sitting here vaping and thinking about it, I guess it is slightly like coffee.  I've found that my sense of taste has been changing considerably with vaping vs. smoking.  Forgive me?  Embarrassed

Sure  Cheesy
Well, I guess what you need is a flavour concentrate to up the flavour in your mix and some VG.
If the flavour is coffe or caramelish doesnt matter as long as you like it.
I think you should try to get a few ones you think sounds about right.
Most brands have descriptions on the tw page.
Take those and experiment until you are in vaping heaven  Cheesy
