First off....is the PR Cola concentrate supposed to be syrupy? Seems sorta normal since it is cola syrup that is mixed with carbonated water to make soda, but I've not had any other concentrate that was syrupy before so I gotta ask (lol).
I'm having a devil of a time mixing this up so that it is vape-able in a clearo. Anyone have any success with this? No matter what I do I keep getting that burnt taste and to me that indicates that the juice is too thick for it to wick properly. I've even tried it with straight PG but no love because there's just not enough vapor. It tastes awesome mixed up 20% in a straight atty, but that's too much trouble for me most of the time.
Thanks for any suggestions, I really want this cola to work cuz it tastes really good!

Can't offer any suggestions because I never got it to work in a clearo. My experience with this was a bit different. I mixed up a batch of DV KolaKick and vanilla (don't remember if it was DV Very Vanilla or PR Vanilla or a combination of the two) at about 50/50 cola/vanilla (all VG mix). Loaded up an XL clearo. Set it down to do something else. Came back to it a few minutes later and it was cracked. Badly cracked and leaking all over the place.  Figured it must have been a bit cracked before I put the juice in it and I just didn't notice it, and maybe I'd mishandled it and made it worse when I filled it. Grabbed another clearo, inspected it to be sure it didn't have any cracks, and filled it up. Set it down. About two minutes later I looked over and.... well, it wasn't cracked this time. It was completely broken.... I mean in about 10 pieces.  Just the guts laying there surrounded by broken plastic and cola juice.  I decided it must be something in the juice (caffeine maybe?) causing the problem. I've only used Kola Kick in Tanks or dual-coil cartos (the metal body kind) since then. Anybody else had anything like this happen to them? |

Ahhh well thanks 8Ball, at least I know it's not my own fault that it's not working.  About your cracking clearos....I've heard that some citrus flavors can make them crack and even dissolve. I saw a youtube video once regarding this. Wonder if the caffeine packs the same wallop towards the clearos as the citrus does? |

Yeah, I don't know if it was the caffeine or not, but something in that mix didn't play nice with the clearos. I guessed maybe it was the caffeine since that's the only juice I've got with caffeine in it, and it's also the only juice I've had do that to the clearos.  |

Shattered tube, huh? I guess it could have been the caffeine. I was going to say my Doppio Espresso has never caused this, but now that I think about it the only clearos I've put Doppio in have been syringe-modded prior to that Some plastics don't react well to certain compounds. I've heard of some things (citrus oils, compounds in some cinnamon juices, etc) to cause clouding or cracking with some polycarbonate tank mods, so I definitely wouldn't discount the juice as your culprit 8ball OhMyStarz, try pulling up the silicone gasket just a little on the sides where the wick is. Just get something under the wick slots like a bent paper clip and give a little tug, it doesn't take much. That could be all you need. I haven't had the PR cola so can't offer any suggestions with that particular juice in mind, just the generic pointers like pulling up the gasket slightly or cutting the wick slots bigger |

Hey, thanks for mentioning that KJ. I completely forgot about that "pull the gasket up" bit. Give that a try OMy, maybe that will be all it takes to fix your problem. If not, I'm afraid it's probably going to require enlarging the wick slots. I'm 90% sure it was that juice KJ, I just don't know if the caffeine had anything to do with it. I looked the second clearo over really well before I filled it up, and it had nary a crack. And it pretty much disintegrated within a matter of minutes. |

I have used lots of Doppio Espresso in my clearos & not had any problems – standard clearos no mods & it wicks no problem.
This probably doesn’t really help you but it lets you know Doppio Espresso was fine with me so it probably isn’t the caffeine.
