Hi folks,

I've had my SD MK II about a month now. When I first got it, I'd get approx. 20 hours constant use out of it. Slightly less than my MegaT battery, but stacks up in terms of mah.

However, I had months with mega T batteris with only slight degradation. After only a month, both my SD batteries are lucky to last 4 hours. I tend to drain them completely then charge again. I charge over night, under the assumption that when the charger turns green it stops charging. Am I right in this assumption?

I thought that the SD may be more economical after shorting a couple of 'nados with smokeymisers. If battery degradation is as high as I'm currently experiencing then this may be a false economy.

All advice greatly appreciated Smiley

I get a lot more time out of my batteries than you seem to be and i've had them a few months. The only reason i've had a bit less time from them lately is due to me using duel coils now. They tend to run the batteries down a bit quicker than clearos or attomisers.

the batteries should not degrade that quickly.. lithium cells do not like being run too flat.. you could try not running them quite so flat before a change..

use varies plus as atomizers lose efficiency more button pressing gets done.. this affects run time..

but something is wrong.. we have run a single pair in all day use for over a year before chucking them.. then it was more because they looked battered than anything else..

something isnt right.. they should not degrade that quickly.. they should last months before any noticeable degrade takes place..
what is wrong i cant say exactly but something is..

As a two and a half year SD user, my experience is the same as trogs...   Something is not right - possibly the batteries or the charger?

Thanks for the advice. Think I'll call customer services and see what they propose. Roll Eyes
