So with the sd being discontinued by both tecc and tw is this the end of the MK11 I know we have the ody which is a great looking device but i feel its a shame no more MK II s are going to be made

You can still get them - Google it, but very expensive compared to last offers from TW & TECC.........

Well I have Both versions MkI and MK II I love them both but prefer the MK II for its battery life

Haven't had my sdII long at all, with 501 adapter I love it.... Smiley

So long as I can continue getting batteries and adapters for the attys, I will be fine.  I own two of them and am not in the habit of chucking perfectly servicable hardware just to catch the next great thing and the SDII is not easy to improve upon.  I would hate to be caught with a pig in a poke, much less two.

I agree Dan, the SD11 is still the best by miles in terms of simplicity and relibability.

Yes they are, so batteries are unlikely to become a problem.

ohhhhh, very very nice, i got 4 batterys and 2 chargers for a mini chrome then, think i might have to buy one to go with my full size chrome, but its gonna have to wait, i want to start mixing next, been reading about it for weeks now and i think its about time i started

Regarding wisdom & knowledge, the best explanation I've heard about the difference between the two is:

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is NOT putting them in fruit salad.
