Tornado Mega/Tank/Compact

« on: June 09, 2011, 10:59:30 AM »

Got my own SD MKII with the tank conversion kit yesterday

Tho there is this thing with it ,
The things I vape in it tastes so much more ... why?
not that I complain but would be nice to know that I haven't lost it totally

Same juice is been used.
10ml 36mg VG flavorless herculian range
3.5ml PG
1.5ml  Totally wicked Tobacco range - cappuccino

My regular setup.
Megatank with both Tornado regular and mega battery (650 & 1000 mAh)
Setup using SD
SD MKII with tank conversion kit original battery (900mAh)
also using the same tank

Could this be becouse of the sd mkii battery having a higher C value to it so that the
Amp delivery "outtake" can be higher than with the Tornado batterys ?
Or is it that I payed a bit for it and like it so much?

[/quote]Lol!! I feel the same, I prefer the taste with the SD but I know logically that it shouldn't make a difference. Longer battery life yes, but not the taste!!

Lol Guys, no, you are not imagining it....the SD is not voltage regulated so you are actually getting a little over 4V from a fresh charged battery, whereas the Tornado is regulated to 3.2V output to provide a consistant experience throughout it's charge life. I think that's why the 510's are so popular on Tornado's etc as they have lower resistance so kick the vape back up to a 'standard' level.
Glad you are enjoying your SD's.
Happy vaping.

Makes sense as it doesn't have the electronics built in
I like it don't use any other of my stuff from now on tho @ work
I'm still using them regular Tornado battery's with tank's ( regular and mega)
works like a charm and no leaks
so for now I'm a happy camper
