Does anyone have this? I have many mods and I just want something simple. And I like the features. How does it perform? How long does the Pcc last? How long does it take to charge batteries and Pcc?

If this helps the wife has a titan PCC and thinks it’s great.
http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/electronic-cigarette-accessories/electric-cigarettes-510-titan-pcc-product.html
She says It charges the batteries the same as the USB charger.
Sorry but I don’t know how the Microlite performs.

Try dropping a PM to kondor, he/she has a microlite and from a couple of posts I've seen of his/hers he/she seems quite taken with it. I've no doubt he/she will fill you in on all the details.

meh, just read through this, sorry if its a bit of a read and get a bit non specific but I guess people who read this might be interested in how it performs for new folk as well as mod fans like yourself Smiley

Got one last Saturday from the shop, I am actually waiting for another for my Mum to come through the post.
My pcc charges overnight so I am not 100% on exactly how long it takes.  The PCC charges a dead battery in an hour, and I do not use a battery in an hour so it is more than enough for me. I nearly caught up with it once but the thing just finished in time.  I was puffing away like a crazy man though trying to adjust and test.  I will let the PPC run flat, and give it a good test..  ie count how many charges it can really do.  Expect some results in a day or so.  However, in saying that the PCC itself has a USB lead, so even if you were the sort to hit it so hard that you caused it to flatten then you should be able to recharge it fairly easy.   The PCC does seem to be able to charge a microlite battery whilst the PCC is being charged, however just to make sure I will let it run down flat and put a flat microlite battery in it.  I stuck a multimeter on it the other day and I calculated 5 watts (not tested under load though) is potentially/roughly what the carto uses.  I use a 70/30 PG/VG mix and get decent throat and vapour off it, it feels more than 5 watts, maybe it is the inverse square law skewing things a little as the cartos are small and right infront of your lips, but thats just a guess. I have been alternating between two cartos, neither have failed yet.

I did find the cartos I have been using, and refilling, were sometimes getting a little hot.  However I found that tightening it so it only just locked on with the a finger tips only tightness gave me a much cooler draw than screwing it on really tight (hope that makes some sense).  Maybe there is something in the instructions that gives this advice, I do not know as I didn't read em lol.  But it might be worth the team adding this information to their bank of knowledge, I might even phone the Wigan branch up or pop in sometime and make sure they know this and give this advice to new e-cig users.

As a device for NEW e-cig users TW have got this design bang on the button if you ask me. The basic design has been seen before, automatic e-cig, looks like the real thing and more recently it probably has cartomisers and even a PCC. Usually when people decide to improve on a design that is already quite well liked something goes wrong.  The design TW have opted for is one that has a slightly shorter battery than its competitors.  This slight change makes quite a big difference, especially to the new user.  It means that they can have a complete built up ready to go ecig in the PCC, whilst at the same time have a spare battery being charged.  Space for another 5 cartomisers, 6 if you count the one on the e-cig and I would say for many users they have more than enough to last them a day.  The cartomisers themselves hold 0.7 ml approx,  so that is 4.2 ml of ejuice and effectively several batteries of power all in their cig packet sized device.  So for the new user, who wants to have something that really does look like a analouge cig then this looks their best bet.

Show them the condom refil method and tell them to get a spare USB charging lead for it and shove that in the glove box/work draw ect just in case,  they are not standard leads as the PCC itself does not have a usb port on it.  In writing this I have relised how I should get a spare lead just in case.  I just checked and TW have em at £1.99 so that is on my next order list.

If I lost mine I would go and buy another.  I have various other batteries, attys and cartos. Egos and passthroughs ect,  I really have no idea why I prefer this but I do.  Maybe it reminds me a lot of some of the old ecigs like the 401 varieties I once vaped that got me into ecigs but no longer with the tiny cart problems,  maybe it is the mixture of light e-cig, PCC, spare battery and cartos which give the new e-cig user a huge bonus to what I had even a few years ago.  Meh,  horses for courses I guess.

Thanks and massive kudos for the time put into this post. Just a quick note on warm vapour when you screw the cartomizer on really tight, its probably because your restricting the airflow from the air intakes therefore the coil heats up and less cool air gets in so you get warm vapour, if that made any sense lol  Cheesy

Thank you do much for the long post. That was exactly what I was looking for. I am an 18 watt vaper. So it will be considerably cooler. But I'm looking for simplicity amoungst my collection of complication. Lol. Also, do you recognize the juice that comes standard? For some reason I have always fansied the Titan tobacco that comes in the tornado kits. Big thanks once again. Smiley

The fitting is like a 510 and there is a slight bit of compatibility.  The thread is a touch shorter, the area where the holes are between the thread and the body is also shorter.  If I stick a 510 atty on it and cover up the holes/gaps it works. I am guessing the thread would need to be a little longer to connect the carto to a 510 battery fitting.

I can not compare the pre-filled carts to another juice if that is what you mean. I can break it down for you though.

The juice before it has been warmed up smells a little like an old sock, one that has been in a shoe though not a trainer/sports shoe. Imagine a factory manager that has worn a pair of thin nylon socks for three days in a row, in his gentlemans brogues that he has had for a at least a year and left them sitting around for a few days in the cool air (not warm pungent, but a sort of cool pungent).  The taste is hazelnuts, roasted barley and a hint ot honey in that order that blend together nicely. It also has another seperate taste that refuses to blend with those,  this seperate flavour gives it a smoke tatse and it seems to come from hardboard, my guess is they are trying to emulate burning cig paper here and they have pulled it off quite nicely,   Not a distasteful burning of a carto or cart filler, it is fresher than that.  There is not a lot of throat to it as the barley and residuel sweetness seem to take over a little here.  As for spices, there is a hint of paprika on the roof of the mouth on the exhale that gives it a slight pepper mouth after feel.

I am not sure I am allowed to mention tobacco names as some companies get a little bit complainey about it,  which is a shame as I am quite sure they could make a few quid authortising juices.  They probably wouldn't like me to describe there rolling tobacco as smelling like a worn sock with hardboard flavoured overtone though so maybe they have a point lol. But it is not a bad vape, and at the very least it emulates a roll up cig good enough that were someone to sell this in a bright yellow packet with red writting and green leaves on it I would guess that a few more people would be able to make the connection I am making too.

Not the worst flavour, not for the sweet tooth addicts either.  This one seems to be aimed at roll yer own tobacco users and I am quite happy fitting into that catagory.

Yes it does charge a battery while the PCC is on charge, as long as you press the button to make the red charging light come on at least.

I am currently in the process of tearing a carto apart,  is there somewhere I can post pics on here?  I can see me ending up making a video of this actually the way I am going.

OK, while I am getting round to it let me give a quick explaination.

take off the cap and under it is another ring to remove, under that one you have loose thick wading going around the outer, and a square of thin wading inside of it.
A silica tube that goes down the middle to protect the wadding from burning and sits on top of a horizontal atty which is right at the bottom, right over the battery hole.   The element is wound with what looks like a small piece of silica material in it.  When it is completely disected you would swear you were just looking at an atty with its bridge removed.

So basiclly it is a horizontal atty right over the vent/battery hole, with a silica tube stuck on top of it, and two layers of wading around that.

I have been filling these using the condom method, from the mouth end, no caps removed or any sort of disection to refil them.  No problems at all, no nic juice in the mouth, they cleaned up, worked great. The only one that isn't working is the one who got picked on to be the victim of disection. Shame really, I wonder how long the little fella would have worked for me if I hadn't took the pliers to him.

I emailed tw and they told me the juice that comes with the microlite is their Titan tobacco juice. Good for me because that is my favorite juice. Smiley

Have you been refilling them, if so what method did you use?

The first thing is to make sure the battery thread is clean.
