I found...when "Direct Drippin'"...its best to remove the cartridge and drip 1-2 drops straight into the atomizer.....rather than unscrewing the atomizer and dripping directly onto the battery !!   Roll Eyes

Very funny...the mental picture of dripping the battery and wondering "hey this isn't working?!?" gave me a good chuckle!

Reminds me of the time where I removed the end "reservoir" cap from a Titan cart because the little cup kept filling with liquid and getting into my mouth.  Sure enough, in a darkened room I neglected to take off the cart and attempted (unwittingly) to drip through the cart.   Roll Eyes

Doesn't work so well.  Great for making a mess!   Tongue

You actually dripped onto the Battery ? OMG ! That's a No No.
And to be clear... I don't quite understand why people drip. I mean I've tried it.. sure.  But to me it seems like such a continuously tedius way of doing things.  How many vapes will one get from drips on the atty (assuming one doesn't 'drown' the atty).  Then those 3 drops are used... and I can just see me holding in one hand the atty/batt.. and the bottle in other hand. Dripping.. enhaling enhaling enhaling and dripping.  I've tested both ways and by far a good continuous Cartridge flow with the right fluval (BLUE FOAM is BEST)... I have not need to drip. In fact, Not Dripping frees my other hand to type this..... one letter at a time. Smiley   This mode seems therefore, to be more productive. Smiley

I'm with you on this one CapT.

Yes, I've made my mistakes... couple times Smiley !

Last night I removed the cart to top up and 1,2,3,4,5,6 drops later, I thought, WOW this is taking a lot of liquid!  I looked closer at it and saw that the filler and pulled out and was laying on the desk!   Roll Eyes  Can't say I've dripped into the battery though.   Wink

Has anyone been 'mystified'... by pulling the Cart away from the Atty... to fill the Cart.. and there's no fluval there... (not thinking it's stuck to the atty 10 inches away on the table.  That's pretty dopey of me... yet it happened.. (shhh - Twice)  LOL

Or use an auto battery, and you can type with both hands - that's definitely more than twice as productive again Smiley

You are quite correct, Vodka is a useful resource in thinning VG, but in Caz's case it is simply a much used resource!  Tongue (J/K)

Yeah, my first attempt at a refill went into the atomizer and not the cartridge (dripped straight out the bottom as you'd expect).  Much to the disgust of my girlfriend who had only turned her back for a minute, whilst showing me how to do it Cheesy

Adult supervision is a must here, especially for stupid people like myself lol.

LOL, welcome to the forum sandman  Smiley

Now then, there is actually a thread on this forum entitled "You can't fix stupid" - don't know why that came to mind  Undecided

Maybe because we have all probably done the same thing as you at some stage  Cheesy

Lol, hey Tony thanks for the welcome.  Indeed stupid can't be fixed, although I've found, if I can keep my mouth shut it takes people much longer to realise Wink .

I've been DD'ng now for almost 3 months but did it wrong for 2 and half months!  Was filling the cartridges as well as dripping into the atomizer.  Getting a great hit but couldn't figure out why after a while the taste was nasty.  I have to say in my defense that I had surgery a while back and have been on Hydrocodone so was affecting my ability to think clearly  Cheesy.  I just pulled out the filler and wow, what a difference!  Just ordered some drip tips and started mixing my own today so am finally getting the hang of this after 8 months.

Ive been direct dripping for 2 days now on my super mini e-cig atomizer (that ive used on a diy modbox) it just seems to work better than using the fillter inside the cartridge. Seem to get a bit more vapour out of it, especially if you give the atomizer a good juicing, when it starts running dry 4 drops so its nice and wet, makes alot of vapour compaired to the complelty original e cig (the 3.7v mobile battery probably helps too)

Also 1 layer of mesh broke off my atomiser and this seemed to improve things also.

Ive not went back to using a cartridge with filter.

I always seemed to get a harsh throat hit when using the cartridges even when they were nicely filled. If i direct drip the atty, and its nice and wet. Its always very smooth, once it starts getting harsh, i know its time to drip again
