OK, been using the titan tank for around 4 months on and off. and I still even now get a burnt taste.
Its normally when I first fill the tank, and i have tried taking 'cold draws' and still get it.
I have tried a few different atty's, and they all seem the same? so not sure ifs the actual atty's. or the tanks?

Any tips?

Thanks.

Hi Simone, when you're filling your tanks are you leaving enough airspace? if they're too full the juice has problems getting out onto the wick properly.

Leave a small amount of air in the tank when filling. It seems if you fill 100% it doesn't wick well and the beginning of each tank will have a burnt taste. Tanks work by negitive pressure dragging juice out of the tank and onto the coil. Leave about 2 drops less than full. Hope this helps.

Thank you both, I do normally leave a small gap.
When I take the tank out, the bubbles all come up to the top, but I cant seem to get the air in unless I take the tank out and pop it back in.
Great ecig if I didnt have to keep taking the tank in and out.

Another thing, I you've let the atomizer run dry it will acquire the burnt taste and sometimes it never goes away. Sometimes it goes away enough were it's barely noticeable. It can happen on the first tank and render a new atomizer useless. Keep it very wet and it might go away as you vape.

I think I may have let it run dry once or twice. But somehow I don't think that is the problem.
I have used several of these attys now and there has only been one that hasn't done it.

I'm considering swapping to something a little bit better, and from what I'm reading it seems either the ego-c atty or the DCT are by far the way to go.
Will either of those attys fit onto my titan battery?

Will they fit? Yes, but they will look a bit strange as both are wider than the Titan battery, also the DCT uses a LR cartomiser and the Titan batts aren't powerful enough to operate them properly, the strain of the extra power required will shorten the battery life considerably.

OK have been doing some homework, and I think I might order an ego-c. Thanks for your help everyone.
