I only offered a passing glance to items marked low resistance, because the only thing I'd heard about them was that they didn't last as long. Is there any reason I would want or need to look into purchasing some of those low res items?
I am a light smoker and prefer smoother throat hit, but the husband likes it strong. I ordered him some DCTs following the recommendation of fellow TW forum members. I'm hoping they are a total hit with him. =)

Low res attys will burn hotter, giving you a better throat hit
and more vapour. The downside is though, that because they
burn hotter, the life is shorter than with a standard res atty Wink

Also the cartos that are used in the DCT's are low res (1.5 Ohm) so your hubby should get a great 'hit' from them.

I used to use LR exclusively before VV and the life seemed to be almost the same as standard resistance. Slightly hotter vape, much more vapor and nic with a shorter puff but drain the battery faster. The duel coils are 1.5ohm total but (2) 3ohm coils so that's confusing but they do offer a nice throat hit. Preference Wink

Ah, GCSE physics!
Total resistance = product / sum
So (3*3)/(3+3) = 1.5 ohm
