I have been using a tornado tank with cone style atty for a god couple of years almost. Lately I am getting a burnt taste. My carts are ful but not emptying.
If i direct drip into the cone it is ok.
So, obviously, there is a problem with my liquid leving the cart and entering the atty.
Can anyone shed any light as to why the atty is not drawing the liquid out of the cart.
Ive tried prodding the wick with a need;le and twisting the cart once it is in position.

Thanks,

Lee

Maybe your juice is a bit to thick.
Have you tried to put on another cap on your tank?
Just to rule out the cap being deformed.
If thats not working try another tank.

Over time the spike could get clogged up decreasing wicking and performance. Is it old? Might be time for a new atty.

i get this from time to time and it usually depends on which juice i'm using so it sounds like your atti is getting blocked up a bit or if your using silicon caps are the holes large enough for the fluid to get through?, i blow hot water through my atti when it starts to burn and 9/10 times this sorts the problem out.

I'm having the same problem with mine, but using the bigger cylinder shaped atty with 2ml tank.  I just installed a fresh new atty and tank, and it will taste good for a while, then go to a burnt taste until I pull the tank, pop it back in, and kinda get it re-primed I guess.

Not sure if the atty just isn't getting a good flow of juice, and how to fix that if that is the case.

We were just talking about something like this in another thread. This applies to eGo-t eGo-C and Dura-T. Maybe it will help.

your on about the ego c right?
Its a wicking issue that's been on going for some time now, search around the forum, there arn't really any quick fixes, you may find you want to use stainless steel wicks,i just leave mine a couple of hours and when i go back to it it seems find for a while them goes again.
I now use a different cartomiser.

Thanks folks.  I think I have it working a little better now.  I'm making more of a point to keep from letting it lay flat, and keeping the tank above the atomizer when not in use, so that the fluid has more of a chance to drip down thru the spike.
