Hi all. A quick question from a newbie tornado smoker if anyone can help please. Having bought the ego-c a few months ago both batteries or the charger are now playing up. After fully charging the battery will work for a few drags but then will fail. the light won't go on on the button and the battery appears permanently switched off. If i then plug it back into the charger it will work again sometimes, and on some occasions it will work for the full length of time expected from the batter before failing (it does go blue sometimes, other times it just stops). Sometimes plugging the battery back into the charger doesn't resolve the problem and it still doesn't work. Is this a sign that i need a new battery or is the charger at fault somehow?

I think it may be the battery as the light on the button doesn't work when its failing, but then once i do get it to it seems to work normally. Its does seem a coincidence that both have failed with the same issue at the same time though!!! Any ideas would be great please.

thanks

Wal.

Hi Wal, welcome to the forum Grin

I'm sorry you are having a problem with the battery/charger.

Have you checked the contacts on both the battery and charger are clean? As this can prevent the battery charging correctly.

If you are still having a problem I would suggest telephoning Customer Services on:

Thanks Astreks, and thanks for the response.

Yes the contacts are clean.

The battery does charge i think, its just that it doesn't appear to work. Once I've reconnected to the charger, even for a few seconds, if it starts to work i can sometimes get a full few hours out of the battery so there is obviously a charge in it even though it has failed to work initially!!.
