Has anyone used one of these? Are they any good? I was going to just get another manual battery but for an extra £2 i think this might be worth it as i spend quite alot of time infront of my laptop. Thanks in advance Jon

The simple answer is – get one – I use one all the time when on my PC & the bonus is unplug the USB from the base then use as a normal Tornado until you go back to the PC to charge/use it again.

Hi stretch You'll find that a lot of us are passthrough enthusiasts...I even had to get the new mega eGo-C passthrough....the benefit is in vaping as you charge so you aren't needing to rotate batteries, it's constantly in use; I spend a lot of time at the PC so I don't need a spare battery at hand. When I leave the PC I can just unplug it and take it with me..and be certain that it's holding a full charge and won't be running out, no matter how long I'm away. It saves a lot of switching around of batteries and carrying spares, since the standard battery has no indicator when it's running low on charge. The eGo-C battery has an indicator for this purpose; add that function to a passthrough and you're not likely to run out of charge again. Running out of battery without a back-up is an experience you only need once

If I worked from a computer more this would definitely be something that would be a necessity. Unfortunetely I'm on my feet most days running around I have to carry that second battery everywhere!!

Definitely i had the SD, Tornado a few micros and in the end I decided screw this and bought the pass through. Never looked back. It holds a great charge for when your away form a pc but when your at one you can charge, If your in a car you can charge (just get a car adapter with a usb port on it they cost about £1 form ..you guessed it Poundland) then you can vape away in the car or if you drive for a living.
Also you can just buy a usb wall plug they to cost a few £ and you can stick the cable in there and bam your now vaping straight from a wall socket woohoo.
Only regret was i bought a new one a few weeks before the new ego c pass through came out and i would have preferred the option to turn it off as i carry it in my pen pocket which often hits the button frying my atty. so something to think about. Id rather spend a few quid extra and have the option at least, you dont have to use it.

Its just a mini usb the passthrough takes so in theory anything with that will work including ...a tom tom charger lol however with the tomtom in car charger its a higher rating (here in the uk anyway) so i only pop it on for 5 mins max otherwise it gets a bit toasty but its like a speed charge for it. Which is not great for the battery but works for me on the rare occasion I am stranded with no other means.
