Using iPhone charger for USB pass through

I guess I was gone too long!  Tried to login with old login and wouldn't take (MOVulcan).. Been off forum for about 18 months since we moved to VA but still vaping. My original pass through finally died and just received my new 1000 mah one Friday and love it!!!  I'm finally going to try and get off the analog's and use full time. I'm flying back to MO for vacation and only takingniPad so wont have a way to charge on laptop.  Has anyone successfully charged with iPhone charger with USB end or do I need to order the one fremont TW?

Apparently any USD charger is OK as they are all supposed to give the same output

Some USB ports only output 500mAh but the iPhone block is 1Amp. More than enough power to run almost anything USB powered.
