There seems to only be one choice on the tornado accessory web page, was just curious if they are the silicone ones, or you have to designate what you want in the comments, or what?

Should be a drop down box with a choice of Soft/Rubber or Hard Plastic

Hi, my understanding is that in the States you don't have the choice of hard or soft replacement caps as we do in the UK, but the replacements on your site are the soft silicone caps...
if I'm mistaken someone will be along directly to correct me.... Cheesy

Yeah, theres no drop menu for me, so I figured it was one or the other or one was out of stock or something. It just doesn't say anything about them being silicone, they're just "replacement caps" I believe.

Thanks!

If you have the Tornado Tank with the cone atty that uses the 1.1ml tanks, you can get the caps here...

http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/tornado-tank-ecig/10-tornado-tank-cartridge-caps-product.html

You can tell they're the silicone as they have the "taller" inner seal on it compared to the hard plastic ones.

BTW... they work great! You'll never have a problem with leaking or drainage anymore. Feel free to clean them and reuse. I reuse 1 cap between 40 - 50 times with no problems.  Smiley

Thank you! I thought that was them but I was not sure and just got the kit into my hands today so I had no visuals to reference to the website, but I have already realized I like the silicone more so I will be order a few dozen of those bad boys, and I figured they'd be reusable, but I didn't know they were THAT reusable! How long until you should toss a tank or are they good as long as kept washed and clean?

Yeah... when I ordered the slicone a while back I ordered 3 10-packs and I've been good. Even gave a few to my neighbor and I still have some I haven't even used.

As for the tanks, I've only had to throw 2 away and that was from me losing pieces to them. Again, I clean these really good either when I don't have any clean to change flavors, once a week, or every 10 fills which ever come first. Sometimes less, sometimes more.

What happens sometimes is you'll get what I call "spittle" coming through the tip. This is raw e-juice that hasn't been vaporized that comes through the baffle of the tank. You'll KNOW when this happens as your tongue will go a bit numb.  Smiley When this happens I do what I described in this post, but I'll paste the meat of it in here.

1. Using a safety pin, put it in the mouthpiece hole to remove the top part. It just pops out.
2. You'll then see the baffle with another hole in it. I used a safety pin to remove this as well.
3. You'll then have the two small pieces with tank itself being the 3rd.
4. I cleaned all 3 with hot water and then isopropyl alchohol as that wouldn't affect these pieces much. It also cleaned any residuals from other flavors.
5. When everything is nice and dry, put everything back to together when dry ensuring that the baffle is seated correctly, flat side up, so that it's nice and flat and not wedged in on an angle.

As far as I can tell, the tanks should last for QUITE a while. The 2 I've had to toss are because the parts have just gotten worn from me taking them apart and cleaning them.

Great description there, rgartley , taking out the baffles and drying out the condensation in the mouthpiece is something very helpful to do from time time even if you're just topping up your tank, so as not to get liquid in your mouth.
BTW it's not neat juice but condensation; the tank is quite a cleverly designed thing IMHO  and are almost indestructible Cool
Unless you use a sledgehammer on them....they don't like that  Huh

Fair enough... it's not neat... but it's condensation of the neat juice so I think it's just semantics here. I believe it'd be distilled?  Smiley Regardless, it tastes raw, it burns, and it tastes like crap. I think that's the point I was trying to make on why one would clean the baffle.

Oh the tanks are great! I just got a 5pk of the Black replacements and it almost seems that there more air flow in these. I know it sounds weird but it just seems that way.
