Hey all,
Had a look around the forum but couldn't find a definitive answer, so I thought I'd ask the question!
Can anyone confirm whether the tornado booster can be used with a Mk2 SD tank mod?
If so, any tips or tricks I need to know?
Thanks in advance all!

Yes with the tank conversion adapter and you have to be sure the battery is the right way up

Thanks for the quick reply!
I presume the 901 to 501 adaptor that came with the kit is the correct one?
Battery right way up would be the usual positive end to spring?
Thanks again!

The 901-510 adapter included with the SDMK2 is fine. the one you can buy from the TW store is NOT. It's too short.
Also be aware that the booster killed my SDMk2.. shorted the battery. Might be an adapter issue there, not sure.
I'm using the booster on a tornado right now, though.

Hiya Coops, don't know which kit you got your adapter with, but no, the standard 901-510 will not do the job, you will need the Tornado Tank Adapter which is only available as part of the Tank Conversion Kit. the standard adapter is not long enough.

I'm pretty sure I have the longer one, I bought the SD with the tank kit already in the box. The adaptor works perfectly with a tank atty. Just got the desire for some vv action

The Tornado Booster works well on the SD with the Tornado Tank Adapter Astrecks is correct and the man who told me to change the battery around because I was having problems using the booster on my SD. Once I turned the battery around all was good

I just screwed the booster in between my mega tank and SD, and I've, apparently, been putting my batteries in back asswards since I got my SD (which, in normal use, is, as I under stand it, not an issue), because, after using the booster for a few hours and putting it down for the night, I awoke in the morning to find 'nothing' would happen unless I removed the booster. O.o *facepalm* *sigh*
positive --> spring. GOOD negative --> spring. BAD
