Hi. I plan on buying the Ego-C when it comes out. But I also wanted to get the Tonado Booster today but not if it's incompatible with the Ego-C? Does anyone know if they will work together? Thanks.

It will work... At least function wise but burns a bit to much on the Tornado-C... The coils seem a bit sensitive to the extra heat.

I can get it up to 5.5 volts , resistance on the one i have is 2.2 ohms flavor seems best for me at about 4.5 volts
boosters are not a problem at all

I couldn't get mine up that high without a burnt wick taste ... found 4.2 to be about the max. Haven't really used it much since. its still breaking in I suppose.. runs fine at standard Tornado voltages.... pretty much what it was designed for I guess.

All in all though its a pretty slick atomiser.... hoping the coils and wicks hold up better then the regular Tank atomisers .. all that messing around with wicks got on my nerves and ran me off to using the CE2's and CE3's

Its still very new to me I just got it 3 days ago. I agree the flavor suffers at very high volts, 4.5 is great with menthol for me.
as with all systems, flavors, taste, heat, vapor production, is all  user subjective.
I like the tank system for home but i still use cartos for work and going out, I think c system  its a step forward not a leap.
im still waiting for a 100% non flood, no maintenance tank system

Yeah same thing here.... only 4 days in

The thing with Tank setups ....clearomiser.. smokeymisers... is they operate somewhat like a carburetor....  but in this case it is getting the air to eliquid ratio down right.... Gotta get Holley into this game  Wink

On Clearomisers you can lift or lower the top rubber gasket to make the atomiser run rich or lean..... running rich you can run up the volts and feed that hot coil better.

With Smokeymisers you really cannot do anything... either its set right off of the production line or it leaves you high n dry.

Both of the above are not bad atomisers.... the Smokeymiser really doesn't perform so well at higher volts... lotta bang for a little dollar though.... and there's a really good strand of high performing Nichrome wire in dem coils.

The Joye Ego-C / Tornado-C you do have to option of covering up the air holes to pull more liquid out of the tank with the added vacuum... it was a real balancing act with the Tornado T's .... it's definitely been improved with the Tornado-C's .... however I am noticing now that vapor production is a little light... throat hit is decent.... flavor a bit muted.... but burning at the standard off the Tornado 3.3 volts just is not happening. Can see a lot of newcomers having a very strong first experience with this device.... I'm hoping they issue a LR version with this model as it is a good step in the vapor throat hit direction and really the only thing I'm seeing as missing at this point.... having that option with the original Tornado T really kicked it up a notch.

I agree it's a good progression .... yeah ramped up marketing aside...... should make many happy happy here

Menthol is one flavor that seems to be able to mask a bit of burnt taste ... seemed to work for analogues.

I like the carburetor analogy. i never thought of it that way before
If we can get a tank system with an adjustable liquid flow and adjustable air flow we can have a smooth running atomizer engine.
a liquid shut off to prevent flooding when stored in pocket upright or left for some time would also be great.

LOL your version sounds more like a Briggs N Stratton lawnmower engine.

I really would not recommend doing that ... You will chase yourself right out of your house with a nicotine overdose.

May work well for getting rid of some pests as nicotine is used as a pesticide..... If that's what your looking to do hire a professional.

In other news
The  "C" has failed me .... As soon as I switched flavors and the burnt taste started ... only the 5th day in. The autopsy revealed that they still do not run the wicks through the coils... Instead they have it dangling over the top of the coil in the usual tank stove effect .... all the wick fibers were really dark.... It's a bit easier to take apart and re-wick but just seems pointless to me.

WOW.  I'm really sorry to hear that Darth.  I had high hopes for this one.  So it's still going to require rewicking these from time to time then.  Sucks dude. Sad

I had a feeling they weren't going to be that much different in terms of coil and wick design. Anyhow I can't wait to try it for myself.

Yeah I'm a bit miffed about it... the atomiser is built really well ..... redesigned for the most part....  but they kept the biggest weakness of the last model.

Yeah easier to rewick but feel they have completely missed the point

Didn't have any leaking issues with mine .... but it's too new yet to really say.

All the same factors of the previous model are still there ... so think its just as possible...... Worn out carts ... and all the other issues some have.. that create a leaking issue.

Just got my Ego-C seems to be working pretty well but, I was using the booster on it and did get some burnt taste on the high end. I covered the holes and took a drag without hitting the button and it was fine after that. Seems the sweet spot for me is about 4.2, same as the regular Tornado T.  Now here's an unexpected problem, I picked it up and took a drag and got nothing, no vapor no sound from the atty. I took off the booster and put the cone on the battery and it worked fine. I put the booster on my Tornado pass thru with a regular Tank atty and the booster worked fine. Put the booster back on the Ego-C battery and the Tank atty and it worked fine. Put the Ego-C cone back on and now it is working fine.  Huh  Any one else have this problem? It hasn't repeated since but I'll keep an eye on it.
Does anyone know if you can charge the Ego-C battery with the old Tornado mains charger?  The big one, not the USB type.

I just tried the booster on the C and I get the same thing. Nothing. Took it apart and it seems the atty parts were not tightened together enough. After tightening that and lifting the pin slightly on the battery it seems to be fine.

May C seems to be working fine now with the booster. I think just taking it apart must have reseated the connections.

Me too and im really surpised we dot have it yet. enic development is too slow given the profits these things must generate IMO. Surely Piezoelectric delivery would be a giant leap forward?

I have noticed that sometimes the flavor of the eliquid is a little muted on the ego-c. But I've had the same thing happen on the Tank so nothing changed there. I have had no leakage so far so that is a vast improvement. With the booster on I keep it at 4.2 also, any higher and the atty head drys out too quick. I have not had any reason to take any atty apart, even the Tank. I had one that came apart by accident but that's all. I had one I was vaping on start flashing the LED but it was not dead so I don't think these have a cut off because I try vaping again and couldn't repeat the flashing.
