Hi Guys,

Wondering if anyone could help me with a problem. I'm using my torpedo with an adapter and mega dual coil cartomisers. The adapter seems to work only with certain cartomisers and I don't think its a case of 'post-pulling'.
Testing with a regular tornado-t battery one cartomiser and the adapter work fine (the battery LED lights up and the cartomiser vapes). If I try another cartomiser (any of several), the adapter and the tornado battery the battery LED flashes (battery protection?) and the cartomiser won't produce any vapour. When I look at the cartomiser that works with the adapter the post contact is the same length as the cartomisers that don't work.

I was using a DCT with the adapter earlier and it was vaping fine at 3.7v but now going back to cartomisers I was using before with the adapter they now don't work (with the adapter but fine without).

Could the DCT have shorted or changed the resistance of the adapter?

Thanks,

Dom

Have you tried pulling the posts just in case?

After much experimentation it looks like the base plate on the adapter has worn slightly on one side causing there to be a bad connection between the adapter and cartomiser. If I slightly unscrew the cartomiser in tiny fractions there comes a point where any cartomiser vapes. I feel that the adapters metal is too soft or malleable (considering how easily I destroyed the thread on my last adapter). Next time I shop at TW I will be buying one of the new brass looking adapters instead and I recommend to new torpedo users to do the same.

Thanks,

Dom
